Cool… until actual developers on X looked under the hood 😂

And within minutes, the whole act just… fell apart.

And honestly, that’s the interesting part for me.

On Instagram, YouTube, sometimes LinkedIn — authority mostly works.

But on X and Reddit, nobody cares who you are.
If you make sense, you’re respected.

If you talk nonsense, you’re corrected — publicly, instantly, brutally.

When you walk into a domain you don’t understand, followers can’t save you…

Over the last few months building Thinkpivot.Ai, I’ve heard this one line so casually, so confidently:

“AI will take most of the jobs.” Or “Someone using Ai will” 😆

Every time I hear it now, I realise we’re looking at work through a completely outdated frame.

Most people think a job = tasks.
“If a model can do the tasks, the job disappears.”

I see this a fundamental thinking error.

A job is not the tasks.
A job is a position inside a moving system — judgment, responsibility, trade-offs, coordination, ambiguity.

And systems don’t sit still.

Whenever a new technology shifts what machines can do, the division of labor shifts with it.

Tasks get rebundled.
Sometimes bottlenecks change.
The definition of the job moves.

I see this every single day with teams we work with.

Automate some execution → the human role jumps to a higher frontier:

– framing the real problem
– governing the agents
– managing risk
– interpreting context
– making the decisions machines can’t
– stitching the workflow together intelligently 

The job didn’t die.
It migrated.

This is also why Sangeet Paul Choudary Reshuffle hit me so hard.

I’m only ~60% through it, but it’s already shifted my mental model for how AI reshapes work.

If you’re still tossing around the “AI will take jobs” line… genuinely, read this book.

The mistake isn’t underestimating AI.
The mistake is assuming the structure of work stays fixed while AI evolves.

It never does.

When answers get cheap → the right questions get expensive.

When execution gets cheap → coordination becomes the bottleneck.

When expertise gets commoditised → judgment becomes the differentiator.

Yes, AI will take tasks.
But the bigger story is the reshuffling of the division of labor.

Jobs will disappear.
Jobs will appear.

Not because AI got better at typing code or producing text…
…but because humans and machines reorganise around a new capability boundary.

A quick story:

We hadn’t met in almost ten years — just stayed in touch in that effortless way without the noise.

Met in Goa… and then, without any plan, ran into each other again the same day at a completely different place.
Pure serendipity.

But the real story wasn’t the coincidence.
It was the clarity that came from just a few minutes of talking to Prateek Shah — the kind of clarity only someone who lives with intention / making conscious choises everyday can offer.

And in those short conversations, so much landed:

- How slowing down can actually speed up life in other dimensions.
- How choosing your priorities help shape you as a “life”
- How meaningful connections don’t sustain themselves — they’re nurtured and takes effort

And how some people quietly know far more than what they show the world.

And yes, this picture may not be the usual “LinkedIn-friendly” type — but maybe that’s exactly the point.

Not everything meaningful fits the template we’re told to follow.

Fluidity matters.
People matter.
Moments matter… no?
