I'm a long-time data leader, currently leading ReportingApplications.com, a consulting company focused on building - you guessed it - Reporting Applications.

We believe there’s an art to building great reporting applications, but not many people have focused on this area deeply enough to become experts.

Prior to starting ReportingApplications.com I was the founder of Delivery Layer - a SaaS product that powered customer facing reporting applications.

Before that I was VP of Data Strategy at Helium 10 where I led all things data (Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Product Development and Analytics). I previously ran product & analytics with P&L responsibility for Nielsen Sports, the global leader in Sports Sponsorship data.
  
Early in my career I ended up with the mix of statistical, business analysis and programming skills that would turn into the ideal background for a data scientist. Since then, I've been leading data teams, building data products and running data businesses.

My philosophy is that data isn't the hero - it's the sidekick. It's only valuable if it improves the lives of your customers, or helps someone make better decisions.

–	Designed and implemented high quality and reusable relational data model (medallion architecture) from scratch 
–	Set up data pipelines using Airflow and Concourse to cater to various analytics/reporting needs using CI/CD principles
–	Developed the complete BI infrastructure from ground up including building impactful and insightful dashboards
–	Implemented Slack alerting for Airflow DAGs to monitor pipeline execution
–	Configured data quality checks to identify discrepancies between Adobe API data and warehouse tables

• Developed ETL pipelines using PySpark, Python, SQL to automate data warehousing requirements.
• Created usage churn model and usage prediction model for B2B customers.
• Designed and developed several insightful Tableau dashboards for higher management to help with better decision making.

• Developed and automated queries in BigQuery to assess the data quality and build data monitors using Data Studio.
• Built novel solutions to identify data lineage and worked towards building data quality checks for SCDs.

• Developed interactive self-service Tableau dashboards to track, report and visualize KPIs and provided                actionable insights for content, social, digital business units for a US media and entertainment client
• Coordinated with senior management and technology teams, owning end to end operations from data preparation to production.

• Designed and implemented new incentive structure for the ROC (Inbound) team, also changed the team structure and roster to align the volume of work to resource availability
• Analysed the feasibility of sales for the ROC, POC and Inbound team by finding the sales to revenue ratio
• Automated all the incentive sheets and the attendance sheet of the Inbound team by taking data directly from the dashboard and processing it using Excel to save time in redundant tasks
•Identified around 250 potential customers on a daily basis by auditing the DBMC team while working on the team structure and roster implementation
•Received a 𝗣𝗣𝗜 (𝗣𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄) for excellent work during the internship

Summer Intern as Operations Consultant

• Led a team of 130 student guides to provide academic, financial and emotional support to the students
• Led the team of student guides to conduct a 7 day long orientation program for 850 UG freshmen
• Over-saw the wellbeing of around 200 first year students of my hostel through regular feedbacks
• Conceptualized and conducted sessions to strengthen team work and interaction among freshmen
• Conducted awareness session on the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day
• Formulated a new structure for the students' core team and student guides to accommodate the new hostel allocation policy for the incoming batch
• Devised the Hall Allocation Policy for 850 freshmen ensuring homogeneous distribution of departments,   category and regions within and across the halls
