I’m an investment operations and client services professional with 16 years’ experience across buy-side, sell-side, and prime brokerage. My career has taken me from trading desks and reconciliations to client-facing roles at Citi, UBS O’Connor, and Värde Partners, where I built a reputation for problem-solving under pressure, improving processes, and strengthening client relationships.

In 2021, I stepped out of banking to run a career coaching practice. Over two years, I delivered 200+ sessions, helping professionals in finance and fintech navigate redundancy, career transitions, and burnout. That experience sharpened my mentoring skills and deepened my understanding of resilience, people, and leadership.

Now, I’m ready to return to financial services, bringing together operational expertise with a coach’s eye for people and performance. Whether solving trade breaks, improving settlement efficiency, or mentoring colleagues, I thrive at the intersection of detail and human connection.

BNI is an international business organisation with franchise groups around the world. The concept of BNI is to get a group of businesses together and teach them how to share business, facilitating referrals and business growth.

My role as Chapter director is to lead weekly meetings, creating a positive atmosphere that's conducive to an enjoyable meeting as well as achieving the goals of BNI - to share business.

I have an excellent team that makes our chapter of BNI work effectively, this year we have achieved...

More than that, we have uplifted the education level in the chapter by a massive amount with bringing great training into the local area, reducing members' need to travel and reducing expenses.

The Flyer Expert

Your one stop shop for design and print! From the very start, TheFlyerExpert.com was a project born out of frustration. Design and Print, two peas in a pod provided by one unified company - leading to higher quality customer experiences and more affordable products.

The company USP was to take a working knowledge of advertising graphic design and combine it with a print facility. It all had to be UK based, and to keep quality high, it all has to remain within a team of people committed to high standards and value prices.

We achieved this through a network of teleworkers. Great graphic designers with supervision and briefing from an advertising expert, someone who has a proven track record of helping companies increase their revenue.

Design and Print Guru

My goal was to analyse and report on the BT computing estate (c.120,000 machines) to look for any savings that could be made. Each leased machine cost between £13 and £33 per month depending on spec.

The first task was to look at usage, determining what machines were being paid for but were inactive - and launch investigations into each case.

Following my initial "hit-list" creation, we created a series of targetted internal marketing messages that would draw attention to the cost savings benefit that affected every department within BT as a global business.

At BT's largest site (BT Adastral Park, Martlesham Heath), I put together a project based around the idea of an on-site asset amnesty, collecting goods that offered several savings to the business, firstly space - something in high demand, secondly rental revenue reduced and finally power consumption. The salvaged equipment was mostly powered 24/7. We then disposed of the items through appropriate recycling programmes.

We implemented savings in excess of £500,000.

Cost Savings Project Co-Ordinator

Working in a part of BT called BT Protect, I worked in a small team that looked after the vulnerability of the BT computing estate. 

Using in-house tools, we were able to assess the vulnerability of every machine connected to the internal BT network, and it was my task to bring vulnerable machines up to a secure standard. This was achieved by a host of remote tools and user interaction.

Enforcing IT security was a challenge, but on an estate of 120,000+ machines, it was essential.

We ran a series of Internal marketing programs to educate users about IT security and vulnerability protection. Our results proved our team effective, with 96%+ of the computing estate meeting our internal standards.

Not one to rest on my laurels, I recently embarked on a new venture, launching my own coffee brand. From tasting to production and distribution, I supply artisan coffee outlets and cater directly to the public.
