→ 2018: Scaled and exited Capium, an accountancy SaaS from £100K to £2MM+ ARR with a 50-person tech team.
→ 2016: Launched a 30-person Oracle-based consulting team and scaled it to a multi-million dollar turnover.
→ 2014: Built a global tech team of 150 across the UK and India, delivering solutions in the UK, USA, Germany, and Dubai.
→ 2009: Created a visibility solution that improved delivery performance by 30% for a logistics corporation.
→ 2007: Launched a strategy and performance platform startup in South Africa.
→ 2002: Built & exited property rental listing management software in the UK.
→ 1994: Developed payroll software for a local government in India.
→ 1993: Assembled and sold PCs in my hometown.

On November 6th, I had the pleasure of presenting to a remarkable group of high-net-worth business founders and leaders in Leicester—a community that’s highly successful, connected and curious.

Thanks to Ragesh Sejpal and Mayank Shah for making this happen. 

The topic?

 "AI for Business Leaders"

 (Not just the tools—but how to think, act, and pivot with them.)

We walked through the wild evolution of AI, unpacked real-world use cases, and looked at how leaders can run pilot programs, appoint AI champions, and map integration across customer, employee, and internal journeys.

But what truly fascinated me were the questions.

→ Will AI destroy jobs?
→ Is AI going to kill my business?
→ Can I afford to ignore it?

These are not just philosophical debates—they are business survival questions.

And I had to be honest:

 Yes, AI is already disrupting certain sectors overnight.
 Professional Services. Translation companies. Creative agencies. Consultants.

Their value—once protected by skill and effort—is now vulnerable to automation.

But here’s the shift:
 AI doesn’t just threaten value—it reshapes it.

I shared the story of a translation firm that was blindsided by AI-powered tools.

-What once took 10 hours now took 2. 
-Clients expected faster, cheaper service.

They had two choices: compete on price… or reimagine their model.
They chose the latter.
 → AI now handles 80% of the heavy lifting
 → Humans bring the nuance, wisdom, and cultural sensitivity
 → The result? A leaner, faster, higher-value business—built on both machine scale with human Input + refinement

This is the future. Not man vs machine. But man with machine—delivering outcomes that weren’t possible before at scale and speed.

For every business owner today, the question isn’t “Will AI affect me?”
 It’s “How will I respond?”
