In 2003 Damien co-founded Telcoinabox. A business that enabled anyone with a phone, internet and computer to run their own phone company.

Thanks to hard working co-founders, dozens of fun loving and inspiring team members and a great number of loyal customers, Telcoinabox would go on to pioneer a new and successful telecommunications business model in Australia. It was a model that would see Telcoinabox enable more than 500 individuals and businesses to launch or expand a telco. Awarded 32nd place in BRW's Best Places To Work, Australia’s 7th fastest growing business in BRW's Fast 100 as well as 1st and 8th best franchise system in Australia the Telcoinabox team went on to win many accolades over the years.

In 2008 Damien took Telcoinabox to the UK where today it has close to 100 telcos using its services.

In 2012 Telcoinabox as part of the Inabox Group listed on the ASX. The group employed 330 people at its peak and once again was filled with outstanding team members and customers many of which had been there since the beginning.

The sale of the various businesses owned by Inabox Group in 2018 allowed Damien to exit the business and start working on an idea that had been formulating for some time.

As a father of 3 young kids and like many people Damien is concerned with the problems the world faces today but he remains positive about the impact we can all have. In particular how business can be used to help create a better world for us all.

Damien founded Goodtel in 2019 as a social enterprise telco that donates 50% of its profits to good causes. It is Goodtel’s mission to turn the everyday use of telecommunications into a force for good.

Damien is open to all connections with a particular interest in those working in the not for profit and social enterprise space. If you are starting out in telco or marketing (or any industry) he is always happy to share his experiences and help in any way he can.
