The search for the right fulfillment partner is rarely straightforward. It’s easy to get caught up in flashy sales presentations or focus solely on the lowest price per pick. But the real costs often hide in missed SLAs, inventory discrepancies, or a complete lack of communication when things go sideways.

Stop asking "How much?" and start asking "How accurate?"

Here are the 3 questions I recommend every brand lead with:

 -1: "What is your actual inventory accuracy rate (and can you prove it with a recent audit)?"
- 2: "Do you offer 'Zone Skipping' or multi-node fulfillment to lower my shipping costs?"
- 3: "Who is my daily point of contact when a shipment goes sideways?"

If they can't answer these clearly in the first meeting, it’s a red flag. 🚩
