A Milestone for Innovation: 4 Months, 450 Students, and 1 Grand Vision 


I am incredibly proud to announce the successful conclusion of the SAMSUNG INNOVATION CAMPUS - SIC Coding & Programming Hackathon at Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology, Delhi. This Grand Finale (Feb 25–27, 2026)  was the crowning achievement of a journey that began in November 2025, transforming 450 of our students into industry-ready tech innovators.

This program reached these heights under the constant guidance and blessings of Dr. Nand Kishore Garg (Founder & Chief Advisor, MATES) and Sh. Vineet Kumar Lohia (Chairman, MATES) the leaders of Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society.

I extend my deepest gratitude to Dr. J.V. Desai who helped bring this program to MAIT, our Director Prof. (Dr.) Vikram Bali, and Prof. (Dr.) Satvir Deswal, Dean, for the institutional support. Special thanks to Dr. Sachin Gupta (Dean R&I) for his seamless partnership as co-SPoC. Thanks also to Prof.(Dr.) Sanjiv Marwah for infrastructure support during the event :)

A highlight of the event for me was welcoming Varun Bhanot (Director of Engineering, Deutsche Telekom Digital Labs), as our Jury Member and Guest Speaker. Seeing him inspire current students with his session on "Interview Prep in the Age of GenAI" was a moment of immense pride. 

To our Incredible Faculty Team, the true backbone of this success! My heartfelt thanks to the entire faculty team who went above and beyond, conducting sessions before regular classes, during lunch breaks, and late into the evening - to ensure our students received 270+ hours of rigorous training without missing a single regular academic lecture.
