Integrated Performance Digital Marketing Manager- Europe

Responsible for strategizing and managing digital Performance Marketing and media campaigns with a focus on key European markets and channels.
Helping grow the market share by using digital ecosystems and media to drive sales across e-retailers, as well own direct-to-consumer platform, which is a key strategic ambition. 
Key media activations to plan together with our agency partners include, but are not limited to,
(digital) TV, display, SEA, and Paid Social. 
The planning of all media activities in an integrated approach, as well as linking any digital media with above-the-line media, within an integrated journey and ecosystem.
Liase closely with agencies as well as with the MarCom Lead, eCom D2C and Sales managers to create campaigns that serve the overall Sales and Marketing objectives across the full consumer decision journey.
Connecting learnings and best practice activations across channels and markets and
creating insights and optimizations based on data and consumer behavior are part of the role.
Exchanging insights with the US Digital Team as well supporting an increased global learning.
Direct accountability for digital Performance Marketing KPI’s and delivering strong ROAS figures that accelerate the business growth.
Develop and lead Performance marketing plans for key markets, addressing all relevant digital media touchpoints in the journey to grow awareness amongst target audience, increase conversion rate, and
overall ROAS.
Working across multiple areas of activation including, Prospecting, Engage, Retargeting and
Close (PERC model)
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify and plan for media and content
enhancements, digital campaigns, promotional initiatives, merchandizing strategies, test &
learn activities, content updates etc. Create, maintain and socialize initiative roadmaps to align
teams, timing, budget and prioritize resource.
Managing the agency partners to unlock their full potential & manage media marketing budget

Just because you’re late doesn’t mean you will lose.

This message deserves more attention than it usually gets.

We live in a culture that glorifies speed. Early success is celebrated. Fast promotions are admired. Being first is often mistaken for being better. Over time, this creates a quiet pressure—if you didn’t start early, if you didn’t move fast enough, you must already be behind.

That belief is not only false, it’s harmful.

Being late does not mean you are incapable.
It does not mean you missed your chance.
And it certainly does not mean the outcome is already decided.

In reality, many meaningful successes are built by people who arrived later—but arrived wiser.

Careers, businesses, and leadership journeys rarely follow straight timelines. Some people sprint ahead and learn through expensive mistakes. Others move slower because they are observing, learning, and understanding the system before stepping in. That patience is often mistaken for hesitation, when in truth it is preparation.

The image reflects this perfectly. Progress is not a straight race where speed alone determines the winner. It is more like navigating a complex path filled with obstacles and redirections. The one who succeeds is not always the fastest, but the one who chooses the right direction at the right moment.

In professional life, timing matters more than tempo. Entering later often means entering with clarity. You’ve seen what failed. You’ve watched strategies collapse. You’ve learned which skills actually matter and which were just hype. That insight becomes an unfair advantage.

Many leaders peak later because experience refined their judgment.
Many professionals find momentum after setbacks forced them to rethink.
Many businesses succeed because founders waited until the market was ready.

Being late can mean you avoided the noise.
It can mean you built resilience quietly.
It can mean you learned lessons without paying the highest price.

The real risk is not starting late.
The real risk is rushing in without understanding.

If you feel behind, pause before criticizing yourself. Ask better questions: What do I understand now that I didn’t before?
What mistakes can I avoid because I watched others make them?
What perspective do I bring that only time could give?
