I just would have expected a bit more variation and high mix low volume and line flexibility….but that’s what we have marketing for. In the end everyone wants the same iPhone 📱, unicorn 🦄…

➡️ Continuous Flow in the Lean Concept:
 
Products flow from one process step to the next continuously & without significant interruptions. The goal is to eliminate waste such as intermediate inventory, waiting times, and excessive handling. Pull production is fundamental in continuous flow, as products are manufactured only when there is real customer demand….a.k.a. Christmas wish list 🎄 
 
Continuous flow can help to reduce inventory, improve quality, shorten cycle times, and increase the flexibility of the production process. 

This allows Santa 🧑‍🎄 to respond more quickly and effectively to changes in market demand.

One of the most significant advantages of one-piece flow is reducing 🥊 work-in-progress (WIP) inventory. 

WIP inventory = unfinished products sitting in the production process. When WIP inventory builds up, it can lead to bottlenecks and delays further down the line.
