Associate Financial Analyst - IA Strategy & Operations

Part of the biggest class of analysts within Finance and the Google’s Finance Rotational Program. Currently rotating between 4 different teams focusing on multiple product areas of Google.

• Predischarge bill of lading (Correction, BL status changes in the system through Proteus)
• Sending documentation to shipping agents, ship planners and the Customs
• Establishing cargo manifest in the GUCEG software
• Ensuring the systematic tracking of containers at the terminal as well as containers in transit through an excel table
• Assist finance team to collect Demurrage and Detention without compromising commercial relationship with customers.

Main duties and activities:

* Clearance of the vessels entering and leaving the port
* Establishing Proforma Disbursement Account (PDA)
* Preparing vessel documents 
* Communication with shipowners, shippers, authorities...

* Representing shipowners, charterers and others involved in maritime transport.
