Upon completion of the festival, I assisted the systematic breakdown of the venue, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in its closure. As the Theater Manager at the Sundance Film Festival, my role revolves around managing and ensuring smooth screening operations while focusing on the big picture to ensure a seamless experience for all attendees. I serve as the primary liaison, introducing directors, actors, filmmakers, and other talent during pre-screening discussions and facilitating engaging post-screening Q&A sessions. My role involves the critical function of ensuring films start on time and promptly addressing any screening-related issues that may arise. Together with my Associate Theater Manager, I oversee a dedicated team of volunteers, ensuring they are well-directed and providing excellent customer service throughout the festival. An asthete to my core, I am committed to maintaining a brand-appropriate ambiance in the theaters, ensuring each screening venue reflects the prestigious nature of the Sundance Film Festival. As Theater Manager, my goal is to uphold the festival's reputation for outstanding cinematic experiences while ensuring both filmmakers and audiences alike have memorable and enjoyable interactions.
