My backstory:

I left high school feeling lost. Between the ages 18 and 25 I tried different things. I didn't know what I was good at. I had lot's of interests but lacked focus. I got bored easily. My parents worried about my future. They saw my potential but feared it would go to waste.

I started to work part-time for the family business. My father needed an extra pair of hands and I needed to make some money. It ignited my entrepreneurial spirit, pushing me into the energy and challenges of running a business. It gave me the focus and confidence to own my path and chase it with determination.

I never looked back. With 20 years in the game, I’ve held multiple entrepreneurial and management roles—half of them in tech/SaaS. I am a product marketer at heart, bringing a diverse background and strong business and operational expertise to the table.

Writing screenplays and directing episodes for the 3 PMG television projects on Vitaya. Also compositing and making educational and visually attractive animations for all shows. Currently working on a new garden show for Vitaya, first episode airing on april 10th. I did scenario's, directing and made most of the graphicals in After Effects.

Several references are Vandemoortele, Daikin, Black&Decker, Dobbit, Vitaya, NGK, Durieu Coatings, and many more.

Viko is a videofacilities company in Brussels, right next to the VRT. They are also the company in which Daikin puts their trust for corporate video's. However, they have the ambition to broaden their horizons.

I'll be doing the AVID and FCpro editing there in the first place, but I'll also be giving creative input concerning new projects. Hopefully, this can be specified before too long.

As an intern during several months, I was able to witness a lot of post-production, from linear tape-to-tape editing over editing television programmes to trailer/promotion editing. I learned to use AVID MediaComposer and used my skills to make two promotional trailers for 'Team Spirit II' and '24, season 6'.

I love to tell stories. But more than that, I love to make sure that people get engaged and inspired by it. And to do that, I try to think like the people I want to tell the story to. What do they like? What are they looking for? And what thrills them? 

After all, isn't that what proper content- and videomarketing is all about?

I love combining my technical background with storytelling skills, which makes for an Epic video producer!
