This program teaches mindfulness in action, based on Jennifer’s broad research, training and experience, which includes meditation, energy work, breathing techniques, gratitude, nature immersion, journaling and intuition.

I believe that good health is foundational to a successful business.  I help businesses thrive by teaching employees how to shift energy, build confidence and Choose to Liv Healthy.  

As I look back, I can see that health has always been important to me, but that wasn't a focus in my family growing up. We ate processed food and my parents worked 12 + hours/day in the family business.  Busy-ness was a badge of honour.

Since 2008, I've been sharing fun approaches to healthy living.  First on my Vitamin Junkeys video podcast that I co-host and co-produced with Toronto based Naturopath, Dr. JJ Duguoa.  Together we were addicted to good health.

As the concept of Workplace Wellness was building momentum and I began supporting corporations with implementing their wellness initiatives like Lunch and Learn Sessions and Wellness Fairs.  

In 2011, while I was eating better and making healthier choices, I was stressed out and emotionally empty. I was feeling unmotivated and not as energized as I knew I could be.  This lead me to explore spiritual approaches to help me manage stress, my emotions and nurture my overall happiness.

I learned about developing intuition, meditation, journalling, working with energy, gratitude and mindfulness practices.  I honed my skills as I implemented these practices into my life and began teaching others through presentations, retreats, groups and one on one Spiritual Mentoring.

Now I'm helping businesses thrive by teaching mindful energy practices to female entrepreneurs and Corporations to create a healthy bottom line.

Assisted customers in finding the most amazing promotional products to represent their brand.

Worked with customers to understand their needs and budget; suppliers to understand best options and negotiate best pricing and graphic designers to ensure the clients branding is properly represented on the product.

Royal Botanical Gardens

At the Royal Botanical Gardens I was responsible for over $200,000 in event budgets.  I supervised teams of employees and up to 60 volunteers to organize their public and member events, including their award winning Lilac Festival which attracts 15,000+ attendees, their Fundraiser Gala Magnolia Night and their former half marathon the Autumn Colours Run.

I solicited vendors, sponsors and donations for events.

I had the honour and pleasure of supervising and mentoring students and interns.

All events were monitored, measured and analyzed for their impact and success.

And success is all in the details- working effectively with suppliers, volunteers and staff, communicating the logistics and requirements using easy to understand event overviews, maps and procedures, providing all of the information to make sure all players have what they need to fulfill their components of the event.

Special Events Planner

Burlington Convention Centre

Developed relationships with prospective and existing clients to meet their event planning needs.

Provided excellent customer service in the booking, planning, co-ordination, management and follow-up of social and corporate events.

Worked with Chef, kitchen team, set-up staff, serving staff and co-ordinated with décor, staging, electrical, special dietary needs providers (Kosher) and A/V suppliers to deliver quality events for Corporate and not-for-profit clients; for 15-600 attendees.

Aon Consulting

Implemented National Marketing Plans for the Ontario Region and provided administrative support as needed to the Senior VP, Marketing for Canada.

Co-ordinated quarterly client seminars, everything from invites to onsite management for 120 people on budget.

Managed Corporate Booth including registering for events, training in booth set-up, ordering promotional materials.  

Managed inventory of promotional products and materials and researched new options.

Implemented Sales tracking system, worked with IT, Department Heads and Admin staff to ensure sales tracking requirements and ease of data entry.  Co-ordinated data migration, and trained team members across Canada.
