Here’s what most people misunderstand:

Crisis management is not about proving you are right.

It is about protecting trust.

When situations goes out of hand aka crisis goes viral, the first internal question should not be:

How do we respond to the internet?

It should be:

Is our core audience losing confidence?

Because viral noise and real damage are not always the same.
