Back in Year 6, I ran for school prefect.

Made posters. Gave speeches. 

And...i didn’t get a single vote.

(Mum even tried...but alas, she couldn't spare me the embarrassment)

Fast-forward nearly three decades (of therapy) and here I am… trying again.

This time, for something much more serious, a spot on the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) Board.

The broking industry has given me everything.

I started in my bedroom with no clue what I was doing.

Since then I’ve somehow lived a dream career and experienced every stage of broking life:
➡️ begun as a solo operator, hustling from my bedroom to a tiny office
➡️ grew into my own small business owner with a handful of staff
➡️ today i lead a national brokerage with nearly 100 people across 4 states

Oh, and then there's my past...I'm an ex-Treasury economist that lives, breathes and talks public policy in my sleep. 

Bit of an odd path into broking, but useful for policy and industry direction. 

So why am I doing this?

I think our board should represent the broking industries future, not our past.  A broker who actually:

⭐ creates content daily and appreciates the future is won by those who get attention
