Over the past 20ish years, I’ve had the privilege of working with leaders across the world in corporate boardrooms (yes, I wore the suit, carried the bag, and sipped the soy cappuccino), and now through my company, doing work that truly lights me up.

In 2020, I traded full-time employment for full-time curiosity and started my solo consulting journey. I began with org design and leadership development, but my path soon widened in the most unexpected ways, like working on gender, culture, and inclusion.

Since then, my work has taken me deeper into culture transformation, employee engagement, policy/process design, and end-to-end HR transformation. I work with clients across industries including nonprofits and social impact organizations and I love experimenting beyond the usual playbook to create real, measurable impact.

Graduate Teaching Assistant

LSE is internationally recognised as a leader in social science research and is ranked the top university in the UK for Psychology by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide. As a PhD researcher in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science, I was awarded the LSE PhD Studentship to pursue advanced research in organisational behaviour, with a focus on individual differences, workplace performance, and employee well-being.

My doctoral research explores how personality traits, particularly perfectionism, shape professional success outcomes, including performance and well-being indicators. This work sits at the intersection of behavioural science and organisational effectiveness, offering insights that inform talent strategy and workplace design.

Key Responsibilities and Contributions:

• Lead multi-year research projects involving the design, implementation, and analysis of behavioural data from survey studies with 500+ participants.
• Use tools such as Qualtrics and R to conduct advanced statistical analysis and generate actionable insights for academic, institutional, and industry stakeholders.
• Communicate complex findings through presentations, written reports, and stakeholder briefings to bridge the gap between research and real-world application.
• Delivered research presentations at the British Psychological Society’s Division of Occupational Psychology Conference in both 2024 and 2025, sharing evidence-based insights with practitioners, researchers, and industry leaders.

PhD Researcher

As part of LSE’s student engagement and outreach initiatives, I contributed regularly to the LSE Student Blog - an official university platform with a global readership averaging 350+ daily visits across organic search, social media, and the LSE website.

In this role, I focused on crafting thoughtful, audience-oriented content that reflected the academic, personal, and professional dimensions of life at LSE. My writing supported prospective students in navigating key milestones spanning applying to doctoral programmes and exploring careers post-graduation.

• Authored 30+ blog posts designed to inform and engage a diverse, global audience of prospective and current students.
• Covered topics such as the PhD application process, navigating life in London, academic productivity, and career development, combining personal narrative with practical insight.
• Contributed to LSE’s broader student engagement strategy by building content that aligned with the school’s tone, values, and brand identity.

Taj Hotels

As the third-in-command HR executive at the flagship property of the Taj Group – the iconic Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, I was part of the core team overseeing HR strategy and operations for a workforce of 1200+ employees. My role spanned the full employee life-cycle, including payroll and benefits, HRIS, compliance, talent acquisition, and employee engagement.

Working closely with senior leadership, I contributed to HR initiatives that blended operational excellence with long-term talent strategy, particularly in the areas of leadership development, workforce planning, and crisis response during the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of my most impactful contributions was contributing to the development of a leadership model in collaboration with the Global CHRO and senior talent leadership. This model was built on the analysis of 25+ in-depth interviews with C-suite executives from across various industries. The insights derived from this work contributed to the creation of Power of Humility, a bestselling book authored by the CHRO, where I was acknowledged for my role in shaping the leadership framework.

Key Responsibilities and Contributions:

• Partnered with the Global CHRO and senior leadership on the development of a leadership model grounded in data from 25+ C-suite executive interviews – an initiative that influenced organisational strategy and was later featured in the bestselling book Power of Humility.
• Formulated ₹110Cr HR hotel budget plan for the FY21-22, aligning workforce planning with business priorities.
• Conducted workforce analytics to monitor trends in headcount, payroll, turnover, and compliance enabling proactive, data-informed HR decision-making.
• Designed and implemented COVID-19 protocols and response strategies, supporting both employee safety and operational continuity.
• Drove employee engagement and welfare programs tailored to the needs of a luxury hospitality workforce, promoting well-being and service excellence.

Assistant Manager - Human Resources

Selected as 1 of 3 candidates nationwide for Taj Hotels’ flagship Human Resource Development Programme – designed to accelerate future HR leadership. Moved across key properties in Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai, partnering with senior leaders to deliver people-focused solutions aligned with evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities and Contributions:

• Spearheaded the design of a customised psychometric evaluation tool (~₹10L) to enhance frontline hiring quality; drove digital automation of the tool with external vendors to scale for rollout across 60+ properties.
• Co-led the development of new employee programmes, including a flexible benefits scheme and a core operations training curriculum to strengthen talent experience and workforce capability.

Contributed to the Learning & Development (L&D) function within the corporate HR team of one of India's leading banks. Assisted in mapping job roles and designing training strategies to improve organisational effectiveness.

I’m an organisational psychologist and talent strategist with 5+ years' cross-sector experience across industry and academia. Currently, I’m pursuing a PhD in Psychological and Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where my research centres on organisational behaviour, specifically at the intersection of personality, performance, and well-being in the workplace. I focus on perfectionism, a complex and often misunderstood trait, to understand how it shapes and influences professional success and broader organisational outcomes.

At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of our work lives. I’m especially interested in how micro-level psychological processes influence broader organisational outcomes and how we can use these insights to design more thoughtful, resilient, and human-centred workplaces.

My career so far has taken me from the dynamic pace of the luxury hospitality industry to the reflective and analytical space of academic research. Across both contexts, I’ve come to value adaptability and resilience as essential to navigating complexity. I bring a people-first mindset to my work, informed by emotional intelligence, and an attuned awareness of stakeholder needs. My approach is grounded in building meaningful relationships, encouraging collaboration, and contributing to solutions that are both practical and rooted in human insight.
