The Union Knopf Group was one of the leading international manufacturers of buttons, fashionable trims and furniture handles. Founded in 1911 in Berlin, the family-owned company had evolved into a global group with operations in Europe, the USA, India, Shanghai and Beijing. All activities outside Europe had been coordinated from the hub in Hong Kong.

For the group managing all businesses outside Europe, mainly in Greater China, North America and Indian subcontinent. Additionally to the position in HK heading Union Knopf (Shanghai) Ltd. as Managing Director.

After restructuring the operation substantially increasing sales to €30+ Mio, creating design teams and collections, identifying acquisition targets, independently executing the acquisition of "Schröder Etiketten und Bänder GmbH“, Wuppertal, merging both operations in a new premise in Mettmann.

In RVL Ltd. (2000-2003) sole Managing Director Europe, building a sales and marketing structure for the California based global Organisation, establishing strategic partnerships and facilitating M&A projects.
After being acquired by the Fortune 500 corporate Avery Dennison, integrating the structure into their European Organisation, cooperating on the merger with the leading German label producer.

Idana Schuhe GmbH

Leading German importer and wholesaler for footwear. 
Restructuring distribution department with 13 employees. Responsibly managing logistics budget of € 5 Mio., distributing private label shoes to customers all over Europe in more than 180k consignments / year.
