I am a communications leader with 15+ years of experience advising executives, brands, and institutions on how to communicate clearly, credibly, and effectively in high-stakes moments.

At Comerica Bank, I lead social media and content strategy across small business, commercial, and retail banking, as well as corporate philanthropy, financial literacy, and community engagement. I oversee a high-volume content operation, approximately 100 pieces of content per month and the production of live streaming events on LinkedIn and Facebook that bring the brand’s voice directly to audiences in real time.

Previously, I served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for Comerica’s California market, where I led media relations, executive speechwriting, crisis communications, and served as a spokesperson. 

In that role, I worked closely with senior leaders to prepare for interviews, public appearances, and moments where clarity, message discipline, and credibility mattered most.

Earlier in my career, I was a television reporter and anchor. That newsroom experience shaped how I approach executive communication today: with an understanding of how journalists think, what audiences listen for, and how quickly a message can succeed or fail under pressure.

Alongside my corporate role, I advise founders and senior leaders on executive media performance, visibility, and on-camera presence through my SmartPresence advisory practice. The focus is practical and risk-aware: helping leaders show up prepared, composed, and aligned with their organization’s goals when the stakes are high. 

This work blends traditional media preparation with modern tools, including AI-assisted video analysis, to accelerate insight and improvement.

• Enhanced paid social marketing campaigns to surpass industry KPI benchmarks, driving website traffic growth of approximately 5% per campaign.

In this role, I maintained and executed paid and organic social strategies and campaigns for the company's consumer line, overseeing SanDisk and WD products on social platforms. In this capacity with Seagate Technology, I assumed sole responsibility for devising and heightening organic social strategy, integrating product launches to drive engagement and sales for the consumer goods division. 

I also implemented cross-functional collaboration to advance and sustain product awareness through content creation, involving marketing, PR, events, retail, and creative teams. 

Content creation and marketing via product editorial, lifestyle, event coverage (CES, SXSW), and celebrity interviews (photographers, game developers, actors) 3x per week.

Key achievements:
• Launched and surpassed Instagram's "followers" goal, achieving 800 in FY14 and 1,720 YTD.
• Created and optimized content for Seagate's consumer blog, increasing quarterly web traffic by 8-12%.
• Achieved 1.25% growth in social traffic-to-web exceeding the initial goal of 0.25%, launching baseline for annual measurement.
• Established and cultivated partnerships with gaming and comics publishers to promote customer advocacy, support communities, drive influencer programs, and cover non-traditional events (E3, SDCC, PAX), resulting in increased word-of-mouth (WOM) and a 2% boost in sales.

I started at EA as a Sr. Community Manager and transitioned into an Online Marketing Manager and Associate Producer (The Sims). As an OMM, I launched and managed websites for EA.com and franchise titles such as Medal of Honor, Need for Speed, James Bond, and many others within product launch cycles. 

Highlights include: 
•	Project manage various web design and development agencies, including assets, content, overall user experience (UX), budgets, and schedules. 
• Develop online strategies and content to consecutively maintain a top 10 ranking for website traffic for the first six months of product launch.
• Contributed 5-8% of web and direct mail game sales.
• Email marketing management for franchises, including content development, e-commerce, site updates, and overall brand marketing.
