❌ 5 mistakes costing you job offers

✅ I have hired over 1000 job seekers in the last 13 years
I’ve coached 3,500+ job seekers, 100+ Senior Managers & professionals and 3500 students over the past 3 years.

↳ Here are the 5 most common mistakes that cost them interviews and offers:

Mistake #1 - 

Your Resume Can Only Be Written by Somebody Else 
↳ You give yourself little credit

When you can do the job tasks mentioned in a job. 
Don't you think you are the most qualified person to write your CV?
Resumes are an important part of the search.

But can I tell you a secret?

They're attribute to only 5% of chances you need to succeed 
if you depend entirely on the resume to do the work.

Simply getting your resume written by somebody else isn't 
going to be enough to land you more offers.

Mistake #2 - 
Taking advice from people who don't know what you do
↳ Most people don't go to unfamiliar sources for advice: 

You ask 
- Family
- Friends
- Colleagues

But these people have no clue how good you are at your work and 
have not been in the job role where you want to work in.

So why ask them advice? 

You could ask if they know someone working in your target job though!
If you want to win this rat race? 

Get advice from experts &  professionals in your industry who have achieved your future career goals 

Mistake #3 - 
Running on the spinwheel like a hamster
↳ Most of you are fed up with online applications, 
they work on 5 to 10%

You apply, and apply, and apply but 
get crickets or feel like you sent your CV to the black hole

Problem is, you don't give up
I love that about you. You keep applying!

If a system isn't working for you?

What is the point of repeating the steps over and over again?
It's like running 10 kms a day and eating pizza for breaking, lunch and dinner

LOL 🤣 

Get what I'm saying?
Stop it. Instead, use different methods that work instead

Mistake #4 - 
Not tracking your job strategy & seeing what gives results
↳ Most people do this:

1. You see a job. Apply for it
2. Look at more jobs. Apply for it
3. Apply anywhere and everywhere 
4. Wait . Get rejection emails. 
5. Start thinking no jobs in the market. 

Then your Mental health and confidence affected 
When you do this, you give up control!

Make a target set of companies you really love & plan how to get hired.

Mistake #5 - 
Depending on others, family members and God 
↳ Thinking others will do It for you -  is like standing in front of the road only to be hit by a car of rejections.

You are the Driver of your Career Car

If you rely on other people to drive you to where you want go! 
You're going to be frustrated

Take responsibility for your actions 
Get the outcomes you want

It's also one of the most freeing things you can do
