I worked on the Workday Help product as a zero to one project. Workday Help provides HR knowledge and case management solutions that help employees find the information they need faster.

I was responsible for defining and executing on the roadmap for the case management product area. Our focus was on enabling HR professionals to be as productive as possible while providing the best possible experience to their employees.

I spent my first 2 years with Workday as a product manager on the Recruiting product team. 

My primary focus was on building new products and features focused on recruiter productivity. I was the lead PM on the new job requisition workspace feature which remains the most frequently used feature in the Recruiting product suite.

Senior Associate Product Manager

One Rocket

One Rocket was an employee onboarding SaaS startup which I founded in January 2015. With One Rocket, we participated in the Y Combinator fellowship program.

We worked with customers in both the US and Europe to help streamline their employee onboarding processes. The One Rocket product allowed new employees to access documents, learning content and more from one simple interface.

Senior Product Designer

Independent Consultant

• Implement user experience design strategies for a multitude of interactive projects including mobile and web applications, product sites, and case studies.
• Responsible for conducting user research to gain an understanding of the customer and their needs.
• Generate “big picture” stories with empathy maps, customer journey maps, and defining an opportunity cost.

• Produced animated prototypes of an iOS Case Worker solution that were used as part of a Bid & Proposal effort for the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Children and Families.

KitCo Sets

Launched a build-it-yourself lamp kit that connects a sophisticated design with the nostalgia of playing with LEGO. I designed the branding, website, and the product packaging and inserts.

Our lamp kits were featured in the Sacramento Crocker Art Gallery and were available for purchase in museums in Sacramento, Palm Springs, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.

Client management: Worked with diverse clients across various industries, including medical staffing, Covid testing, and supply chain management, to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions.

Red Hat

Designed and launched a new internal tool meant for tracking internal product offerings and assisting the Red Hat sales teams.

Led design thinking workshops with a focus on building empathy maps and user journey maps to guide user-centered solutions.

Compiled a product usability assessment for the existing version of IBM Cúram to identify how it compares with competitors.

Directed wireframe designs to overhaul the IBM Cúram platform which set the foundation for its next iteration.

∙ Designed process flow diagrams that communicated intricate business requirements to the team.
∙ Converted legacy systems and processes for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to unify them as one product under the IBM Cúram software platform.
∙ Met with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand design constraints to ensure alignment with the development team.

• Led three weekly client-facing meetings to present our team status and seek approval for process and product releases.
• Measured and monitored an hourly forecast model spread across five workstreams, that was reported weekly.
• Oversaw Human Resources Management staffing for a $45 million contract account with the State of Florida.
• Helped transition our project to an Agile workflow that allowed our team to deliver more frequent releases to users in the field.

Project Manager

• Managed SAP Business Objects web reporting tool used by Community Based Care facilities in Florida.
• Configured folder structure in Linux that restricted SFTP users to home directories and not the entire file system when they logged in.
• Oversaw tier two on-call team to assist with production and maintain record log of issues.
• Interpreted functional designs to draft a technical specification that quantifies the effort required for deployment.

PEAK & VALLEY Design

• Founder of a design strategy agency that specializes in human-centered design and user interaction across business processes, mobile applications, and online presences.
• Working with local non-profit to reimagine communication strategies and branding through process redesign, and website redesign.
• Identifying user flows for multiple, concurrent actors through interaction mapping for a mobile technology startup.
• Participating in five-day Design Sprints to map, sketch, prototype, and test solutions for rapid user-based feedback.

• Worked in the corporate offices in Southpointe, Pennsylvania.
• Conducted meetings with executives in charge of Financial Planning and Purchasing departments.
• Collaborated with executives in the Marketing department to connect other Mylan employees across the world to a central SharePoint site.
• Directed meetings with third-party companies in Germany and Sweden in order to purchase a product used for tracking financial sales of pharmaceuticals.

• Researched information within Mylan to populate a list that is now used as a global resource for the company.
