At THG Myprotein, I’m the VP of Growth Marketing for our US market - leading 360 omni-channel growth across Retail, DTC and B2B, with acquisition, subscriptions and retention at the heart of the strategy.

Over the years, I’ve built experience across performance marketing, experimentation, CRO and performance creative - always with a sharp eye on what drives real business growth (and what drives long-term value, not just short-term wins).

I’m especially excited about the potential of AI to scale that impact even further - from insight to creative, personalisation and decision-making.

I increased my failure rate on purpose last year.

And it was the best decision I made.

Focus on the 20% that drives 80-90% of commercial impact.

The truth is: most people try to do everything and end up average (at best) at all of it.

The advantage comes from saying 'no' to things that look attractive but don't drive impact.

I made it a goal to increase my team's failure rate.

We tested relentlessly. Each failure brought us closer to the solution quicker.

Too many people stay stuck in their isolated view. They never connect their work to the bigger puzzle.

You're not building a perfect car.

You're building a factory that produces cars at scale.

Think: how do you go from 30 creatives to 3,000+?

Don't be the perfectionist bottleneck to your team's growth.

𝟱. 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗱

As a leader, you make tough calls that not everyone will understand.

I had to train myself on this. It's natural to want validation.

Still do the right thing instead of the easy thing.

𝟲. 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲-𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲

I measured this actively.

If a setback took me 3 days to recover from, I worked on getting it to 1 day. Then hours. Then minutes.

Face challenges head-on. That's the only way to build resilience.

𝟳. 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Easy to get swayed by what people say or how they react.

Instead, go deeper. Understand where the reaction is coming from.

99% of the time, this got me to my goals faster AND strengthened the relationship.

None of these are tactics.
They gradually become part of your mindset, your identity.
