Education is dynamic and the theories surrounding teaching and learning are vast. One thing holds true however, and that is, that the formative years in any child’s learning experience are golden. In Piaget’s theory of Cognitive Development, we are enlightened about the importance of recognizing that children do not simply “… add more knowledge to what they already have as they get older” instead it is that there is a change in “… how they think about the world”. 

At MJP Academy, our focus will be on providing a learning environment which focuses on just that; stimulating and nurturing our students’ minds so that they think firstly about themselves with a positive “I can do anything” attitude which will have positive implications in terms of how they perceive the world around them which will make for more resilient students in times like these.

Our stimulating classrooms will provide our students from Grade K to 6 with the perfect environment in which to thrive. The interesting addition of subjects like Goal Setting, Coding and Life Skills together with languages such as French and Mandarin promises to open our students to an entirely new world of possibilities.

Additionally, the provision of after-school services for secondary students as well as evening personal and professional development programs for adult professionals will be an added bonus.

I am a bestselling author of the Unleash Your Undeniable Impact anthology with Les Brown and Dr. Cheryl Wood. As an international motivational speaker I use my voice to help people reignite their childhood dreams and coach them to  implement a 3-step process to unleash their impact in the world:
1. re-ignite the  BIG dream you had as a (10-year-old) child
2. do the mental work required
3. develop an unwavering belief that it is possible 

Experienced French Teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. Skilled in Microsoft Word, Coaching, Secondary Education, Lesson Planning, and Educational Technology. Strong education professional with  Associate's Degrees in Accounting and Teacher Education. 

My 15 years of experience as a tutor at Madame Jn Pierre's Learning Centre allows me to guiide my students to 'learning the way they learn'. 

I am an excited entrepreneur at Moonlit Break. Our aim is to  bringing a unique entertainment experience to the diverse cultures in Antigua & Barbuda with a little bit of 'Old time something' sprinkled with youthful energy😁Our successful launch in Aug 2019, followed by our fund-raising 
"Lupus Awareness" dinner set the stage for even greater things the future.

At the end of my MBA studies, I hope to use the knowledge garnered along with my years of experience to assist young entrepreneurs and professionals to hone their craft and develop their passions into successful businesses.
