🔘Silicon Valley Start-Up Data Leadership: 
Led the end-to-end development of a cutting-edge cloud integration and ETL architecture for a cloud cost computing product. I oversaw the entire data domain, from identification and acquisition to engineering and integration of cloud data on platforms like AWS and DataBricks. Employing CI/CD practices, ETL optimization, a robust and efficient data pipelines. Automated complex machine/cloud data preprocessing using Shell & Docker. Used OpenTelemetry and Lambda for MLOps, to ensure pipeline is robust, scalable and responsive.

🔘 System Failure Detection for Gas Station: 
I led an AI-driven project to detect gas station system failures. Leveraging Deep Learning techniques ( Autoencoders with LSTMs), and advanced statistical modeling, I successfully identified outliers in time-series data, enhancing system reliability for gas station.

🔘 GeoAnalytics with Machine Learning: 
Leveraging Machine Learning for Environmental Global Consultancy, decoded climate triggers for landslides using Causal Analysis. Employed Machine Learning (DBSCAN) to successfully identify landslide hotspots. Delivered actionable insights in a tight timeframe, fostering impactful collaborations with stakeholders.

I designed and applied Machine Learning, NLP, AI, and statistical models for corporate analytics to integrate into client-facing recommender systems or search engines, earning a promotion to Data Scientist III from Data Scientist I.

🔘Generative AI & LLMs: 
Led a pivotal Data Science project utilizing the BERT model (a type of LLM) for SciVal's search engine. This integration brought Patent analytics and grants into SciVal in collaboration with LexisNexis and Elsevier.

🔘 Machine Learning: 
Developed and implemented an ML reranking model (XGBoost) on a recommender system, achieving a 20% increase in CTR. Conducted rigorous offline and online A/B testing for evaluation of the reranker system.

🔘 NLP & Data Analytics: 
Crafted a PySpark library using the TF-IDF NLP algorithm, automating the analysis of new funders' data quality.

🔘 Recommender Systems: 
Coordinated a Data Science initiative to refine eligibility features for the Funding Institutional recommender system, resulting in a competitive edge and a 15% boost in conversion rate.

After the Tariffs: How U.S. Agriculture Is Rebalancing
 
The U.S.–China tariff dispute has triggered one of the most significant realignments in global agricultural trade in decades.

What began as a cyclical disruption is now a structural decoupling; one that has forced U.S. exporters to reinvent their market strategies.

While recent diplomatic dialogue has eased short-term tensions, it is unlikely to alter the long-term strategic direction of either the U.S. or China.

Key takeaways from our analysis:
🌾 70% decrease in China’s imports of U.S. agricultural and animal products between early 2024 and mid-2025.
📉 China’s pullback began well before the 2025 tariff wave, signaling a deliberate and anticipatory sourcing shift rather than a reactive one.
🇨🇳 China has pivoted to Brazil, Russia, Argentina, and Australia, redrawing global trade routes.
🇺🇸 U.S. exporters have diversified toward Mexico, Vietnam, Turkey, Pakistan, and South Korea, achieving broader but thinner recovery.
 
📉 The result: Diversification is underway and will continue to redefine the U.S. agricultural landscape.

What we eat in 2050 will be shaped by three major forces. All pushing toward healthier food, but they don’t fully align.

The first is longevity. With the support of AI and biotech, life expectancy can approach 100 in the next decades. A longer life changes the meaning of food. We are shifting from simply eating healthy to eating for longevity. This shift will influence demand more than any trend today.

The second is home robotics. In the U.S., the one of biggest barriers to cooking is time. Advanced kitchen tech that can prepare full meals from raw ingredients, and eventually home robotics, will solve this. As automated cooking scales, fresh food demand will rise even further, putting more pressure on frozen and fast-food formats.

The third is climate. A sustainable diet prioritises plants, legumes, whole grains, and less animal protein. I hope we’ll reach a point where we make choices that serve both the individual and the earth. However, the risk is when people choose between living longer (protein) and saving the planet, they may prioritize themselves. 

Longevity, home cooking and climate all push the system toward healthier choices overall, but not without friction. Many food categories and formats of today will need to evolve significantly to respond to all three at once. The transition will be complex, but for the leaders willing to adapt, these are the most exciting years of reinvention the industry has ever seen.
