I’m creating a newsletter ghostwriting course with two close friends and it’s the most fun I’ve had in months.

Few things beat building with people who care as much as you do.

The happiest people I know are not doing more. 
They are noticing more.

They pause to celebrate small wins others ignore. Ten minutes of focused work. One uncomfortable email sent. An honest start on a low-energy day.

That habit will make you effective.

Because people who notice progress keep going.

Multi-passionate people get stuck because they over-consume and under-create.

You don’t have to give up learning. But you do need to devote yourself to producing work daily.

Create for 2-4 hours in the morning. Explore for 1-2 hours in the evenings.

That’s how you both learn and earn with multiple interests.

You don't need motivation to achieve great things.

I don't always feel like writing.
I don't always feel like working.
I don't always feel like exercising.

Honestly, MOST days I don't feel like it.

But I do it anyways.
And I never regret it.

The future won’t belong to specialists who refuse to change.

It will belong to people who can become someone new again and again.

Technology is moving too fast for fixed identities.

SEO tip: Try these 2 tactics to start 2026 strong with short-term SEO wins. 

1. Do a backlink audit and find the pages on your site with the most backlinks from high quality sources. 

Then do two key things: 

1) optimize these pages for conversions to capitalize on that referral traffic

Add a CTA to join your newsletter, embed testimonials, case studies, lead magnets.

2) internally link from these pages to your other most valuable pages

Audit existing internal links on this page, remove less valuable internal pages and replace for your most important pages. Drive that link equity to your key pages without diluting it.

2. Prune your worst-performing content.

Google views your WHOLE SITE as one main entity. 

Search engines and AI will rank and showcase a website with only good content higher than a website with 5 great articles and 5000 garbage ones.

Before you get content-velocity-happy or spam programmatic pages, look at the data.

To identify low-performing content, you can perform a content audit and find:

- Bad URLs and broken links
- Traffic from an organic search for the last 90 days
- Landing pages with low time-on-site and high exit rates
- Content with fewer social shares 
- content with little to no backlinks

Once you’ve got all the data in front of you, create an Excel sheet with 3 tags:
1. Leave it as it is
2. Remove / redirect / consolidate
3. Improve

The last step is to take action to improve it.

- Remove or redirect the pages, or consolidate them in topical clusters.
- Hire a good copywriter to improve the content that you need to rewrite
- Replicate style, tone, intent matching, and depth of best content

AI and LLMs hallucinate information in SEO analysis way too often. It’s genuinely terrifying how many people are banking on AI to run their SEO programs.

Especially in SEO, if you don’t know any better, it’s very hard to tell when AI is inaccurate because it all sounds right. Uses the right jargon. The right terminology.

But it’s very often dead wrong and fails to draw the seemingly obvious conclusion from the data you feed it.

If you aren’t an expert, it feels dead on accurate. If you are an actual expert you spot the problem instantly. 

Because the second an expert corrects AI and explains with a prompt why that output was inaccurate, AI fesses up: 

“You’re right. That was wrong. I’ll redo it using X and Y.” 

Key distinction is that only truly seasoned professionals know what to correct in the first place.

If someone is “running the entire SEO strategy on ai” or “firing my entire team because ChatGPT does my strategy” … run. Far far away. 

You are dealing with someone who is not well versed in SEO and believes the AI output at face value because it said all of the “right” words.

The #1 reason most SEO programs suck is poor resource allocation.

It's almost always a strategy bottleneck, not execution.

You can build 500 links and write 500 articles, optimize 500 pages. Doesn't matter if...

- Those pages are too hard for your brand to rank for in the time horizon you need to see ROI within, thus you burned all your capital before any return and now can't reinvest in more growth 

- Even if you ranked those pages, the CTR is sh** due to AI overviews and being too informational / lacking commercial intent
