Why Degreed? We started Degreed with a passion for lifelong learning and have since seen what works (and what doesn’t) across hundreds of the most innovative learning organizations. After we established the category of Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) at Degreed, I left to tackle a new set of ambitious challenges and cofounded Learn In. In 2022, through acquisition, we combined the latest innovations from Learn In with Degreed’s market-leading platform to build the next chapter of products to support lifelong learning.

I didn’t start in HR. I started with plants.

As a botanist, I learned that growth doesn’t just happen. It takes the right environment, structure, patience and someone who truly cares. Over time, I began to see that people grow in much the same way.

That insight sparked a journey. From science to strategy. From nurturing roots to nurturing potential.

Today, I work at the intersection of people, culture, and purpose by leading transformation through strategic HR, leadership development, and culture-building. I believe HR isn’t just a support function. When done right, it’s a powerful driver of progress and possibility.

I see myself as both a strategist and a gardener—someone who can design systems, shift mindsets, and plant the seeds for long-term change. I lead with clarity and care. I build with intention. And I never stop learning.

Because when we put people at the center, everything grows stronger—from individuals, to teams, to the entire organization.

International Women’s Day is on March 8.
I’m sharing this reflection a week earlier because the theme has stayed with me. 🌱
 
While preparing our SEA IWD activities at ABeam, I found myself thinking about the opportunities that shaped my own journey. 😇 
 
Someone once gave me a chance before I felt ready. 
They gave me time to learn.
They gave me space to grow.
Sometimes, they simply gave reassurance through a small smile.
 
Those moments stayed with me far longer than achievements. 
 
Today, I notice how my role has quietly changed.
I give opportunities for others to try.
I give time when someone needs support.
I give space so new voices feel safe to step forward.
 
Most of these moments go unnoticed.
Yet seeing someone grow into their confidence brings a deep sense of meaning, one that stays long after the moment passes.
 
It makes me reflect.
🤔  What was once given to you that changed your path?
🤔  What encouragement, trust, or opportunity stayed with you long enough that you now feel ready to pass it forward?
🤔  And when you do give, what kind of fulfillment might quietly grow within you?
 
I hope this is not just another International Women’s Day that comes and goes. But a moment to pause, to appreciate the opportunities you once gained, and to continue giving forward with intention, creating impact that never truly ends. 😊

In my garden, มะยงชิด (Thai plum mango) tree bears fruit only once a year.

Some years, the branches are heavy with golden fruit. Some years, almost nothing. 😅

Same tree, same care, but different outcome. Weather decides the rest.

Right beside it, there are rows of potted plants. Carefully placed under shade nets. Water controlled. Soil selected. Light adjusted. Humans trying their best to manage uncertainty.

Standing there, I’m reminded of a simple Stoic idea... 🤔 there are things we can control, and things we cannot.

We prepare the soil. We water consistently. We show up. But seasons, timing, and results never fully belong to us.

Understanding this does not reduce effort. It softens expectation. 😊

Maybe peace comes from knowing
when to cultivate and when to simply accept the season we are given.

What in our life today is asking for effort… and what is asking for acceptance?
