Role:

⮚	Finance business partnering and project control and accurate management of financials for business / projects within the Service Line / Business Line.
⮚	Accurately tracking and reporting of business / project revenues, change orders, costs, overheads, actual and forecast Earned Value and projected versus actual cash flow. 
⮚	Working with Business Line Managers / Business Unit Managers / Service Line Managers and Project Managers to design and optimize best financial strategies that achieve all business / project contractual requirements with efficient use of resources. Validation before submission to client and tracking of invoice payments against modelled cash flows. 
⮚	Driving the working capital management with special focus on reduction of debtors , EMDS , Security deposits and bank guarantees and minimizing the earlier bad debt proposals. 
⮚	Fund Management including rolling cash flow forecast and periodic review of the same with the business managers. 
⮚	Individual project wise profitability reviews and variance analysis.
⮚	Complete budgeting & planning exercise and fortnightly variance analysis of the costs.
⮚	Review of CAPEX / OPEX regularly and brainstorming cost reduction measures & implementation.
⮚	Actively involved in the procurement process and compliance to internal controls. 
⮚	Leading a motivated team of 7 personnel.
⮚	Leading the GST and Internal Financial Controls reporting exercise .

⮚	Business controller for Heavy truck and rent a car verticals. 
⮚	Core team member for successful VAT implementation in Oman in consultation with E&Y.
⮚	Complete product wise sales , margin variance analysis and review with business.
⮚	Complete involvement and ownership in yearly budgeting and planning exercise and also periodic reviews with business on the forecast vs actual figures.

Head – Accounts Payable including end to end vendor management  , Suhail Bahwan Automobiles LLC ), I spearhead the complete array of financial operations for the company encompassing various divisions , viz. Nissan , Renault , Infinity , IVECO , IECC , and BAIC. I have set up the vendor management cell in Oman and Saudi Arabia as well as in the process of setting up the same in Dubai . We had integrated the vendor payables with vendor receivables for better working capital management for the company as well automated the complete manual process in SAP leveraging IT capabilities.

Gulf Advantage, Saudi Arabia, a fully owned Group company of Suhail Bahwan Group is the sole importer for Renault (France) cars in Saudi Arabia since June 2010. 
Spearheading the complete array of Financial Operations integrating Saudi Statutory Audit Compliances across 5 sub-divisions (Fleet Sales, Retail Sales, Used Car Business, LTO business, After Sales)
Supervising a Trans-national Multilingual team of 18 members (in Riyadh, Jeddah & Dammam) imbibing an objective approach on Organizational Employee Engagement

I was associated with Philips in their financial functions in various capacities including that of Regional Financial Controller (Lighting Division) – Eastern India overlooking 10 (ten) states the region.  Philips also duly recognized my contribution by honoring with several awards and promotions. 

One significant achievement for me in Philips India during 2012 was the implementation of customer financing solutions in Eastern Region to enhance collections by 30% in Dec’2012 and driving profitable sales growth. In 2010 , I was instrumental in bring down the debtors run rate from a whooping 16% to  8% and closing the year on a nil debtors for the region. 
In 2008 I had initiated & executed ‘formation of a core cross functional team to ensure faster customer settlement (from 15% to 90% within 3 months) thereby championing customer centricity’. My other notable contribution was smooth functioning of a forum for benchmarking best practices (e.g. reduction in tax liability, exports documentation, SICOI and Customer claim settlement) across sectors (Lighting, CLS and Healthcare).
