My time at Wealth Dynamix was rich in learning opportunities, stepping out of my comfort zone, honing my coaching, problem-solving and people risk assessment skills, aside of recruitment work that I’ve done for the company. 
One of the most important business lessons I learned was that people debt accumulates in an invisible way and if left unaddressed, can have a lasting, destructive impact for a company, regardless of it’s size.

At the time of my joining, Wealth Dynamix was a rapidly growing technology business with a proprietary and sophisticated product for a demanding clientele. To be effective in my role, I had to quickly assess the context of the product build and how it impacted the recruitment requirements and processes, as well as manage multiple shifts and transitions common for a rapidly scaling company. 

I focused on introducing only highest quality candidates that would bring in additional skill sets beyond job description requirements. I was responsible for bringing over 60 hires that accounted for 40% headcount growth. I also hired two senior professionals into our Swiss office who further established and expanded our presence in the country and in Europe.

To further maximise new employee development and increase their bandwidth and resilience I designed and implemented a new employee onboarding process, skills development framework and peer to peer training plan. 
These allowed to facilitate harnessing existent talent and skills, provide improved performance management solutions for line managers and, most importantly, minimise people debt accumulated across new hires. As a result, employee retention and successful probation rate significantly increased in my first year alongside improved employee engagement levels.

At Amrop I was responsible for identifying talent for technology sales positions in the Financial Technology space. I focused on Western European markets. 

One of the key elements of the role and one that I really enjoyed was learning how important for the success of technology business in Europe was to attract and retain skilled and committed sales professionals. Through numerous conversations with clients and candidates, I acquired an extensive list of case studies where poor risk assessment and strategy execution cause businesses to fail after a merger or expansion. 

I also became increasingly aware of the problems that organisations have when it comes to unaddressed people issues and how that affects their reputation on the candidate market and prevents from attracting relevant top talent. 

What followed was my realisation that as an external recruiter I would not be able to effectively contribute and help address those issues, and I decided to pursue a career in HR and consulting.

At Sartre Group I researched candidate market to identify and source highly sought-after talent with extremely niche skillset in high-frequency trading for our clients in the US. The key to success was to quickly understand product knowledge and information in a new industry to effectively provide customised recruitment solutions to a highly demanding clientele.  

My goal was to add technology recruiting skillset to my portfolio. I also delivered a global confidential salary report to a US-based client in collaboration with another teammate.

As an Executive Search Consultant, I assisted Investment Banking clients with search and selection processes for front-office mandates in EMEA and APAC regions. 

I quickly discovered that coaching candidates through interview and assessment processes for high-level roles at top banks and funds were the most enjoyable parts of my role as these often meant a huge career jump and life-transforming opportunities for my clients. 

My responsibilities included:

	- Candidate sourcing 
	- Managing interview processes from shortlist to offer stage

	- Providing clients with timely market intelligence and top-down analysis of relevant trends

My client portfolio included:

I generated over £180,000 in revenue through thirteen successful placements and twenty-five candidates through to final round interview stages. Some of my biggest successes included: 
- Placing a candidate who built a High-Yield Investment desk for a global fund from scratch 
- Helping a client set up their German and Swiss operation by placing a few highly specialised, senior candidates in a private equity space  
- Connecting a Hong Kong-based candidate with a life-changing opportunity to join Equities desk in a prominent London fund

Senior Executive Search Consultant

AIESEC in Poland Local Committee Lublin

As growth has always been one of my top values, I decided to apply for an executive board position to challenge myself with a role that was responsible for developing an area locally in the context of national growth plans for the organisation. 

I was awarded the role of Vice President Incoming Exchange, where I oversaw sourcing businesses open to hiring international students for paid internships. Given the fact that eastern Poland where I studied was underdeveloped at the time, adapting national goals to the local context was twice as challenging. 
Despite the circumstances, I personally delivered ten organisations back into the client portfolio and these regained clients accounted for 33% of the total number of clients within our local chapter and 33% of revenues. In delivering this, achieved 125% of personal target. 

I also redesigned the organisation’s B2B sales training and delivered training to 20 people that led to a 300% increase in client meetings organised. 

As a member of the board, I was also heavily involved in all the activities related to the recruitment and induction of new associates. The voluntary nature of our work, short academic year and highly demanding projects and organisational goals meant that I learnt how important it was to manage multiple commitments effectively, keep up the team morale and recognise the risks early to prevent a crisis.

Following my exceptional results in the previous role, I was given an opportunity to run a local sales team for a nation-wide career fair. At this point, I developed a passion for consultative selling and specialised in bringing in “challenging” clients and winning back clients lost in previous years. 

I enjoyed liaising with the national project team to translate the big picture project goals into the local context, especially since it required knowledge and best-case practice sharing among all seventeen universities that participated in the project. 

I was entrusted with planning a local sales strategy and training a team of two sales associates to execute it in high-pressured, tight deadlines within a shorter, academic year. The project was a huge success and gave me a taste of working for a corporate world.

Following a thorough selection process and competing against fifty other students, I was offered a Sales Associate position in an annual event project that delivers paid internship opportunities for students at local businesses. 

Working alongside other students and training in sales, business development and project management, I learnt to identify and successfully close suitable prospects; manage senior business stakeholders; motivate the team to push the project forward despite challenging economic circumstances and juggle academic commitments and my work for the organisation. 

I increased sales by 15% and was awarded the Role Model Award for my engagement and modelling the organisation’s values.
