HighWire Press, a division of the Stanford University Libraries, is the online publisher for over 1400 journals, books, reference works and other scholarly publications.

- Lead interaction designer for several Knowledge Environments (i.e. research collaboration communities) for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Oxford University Press and the International Bone and Mineral Society.
- Managed client design projects from concept to launch.
- Drove the design and implementation of several core features that became part of the Knowledge Environment platform including a suite of personalization services (i.e. saved searches, research folders, etc) and an innovative virtual journal that pooled topical articles from multiple publications.
- Implemented a robust template system that allowed diverse Knowledge Environments to maximize shared code while accommodating customizations.

I cursed at my physical therapist a lot following reconstructive elbow surgery in 2008. It was only fair that I experience the same verbal abuse from patients.

Prepared outpatients for manual therapy by licensed PTs, guided exercise therapy programs, documented rehabilitation progress for physicians and health insurers, and managed business operations of the clinic.

Helping people relieve chronic pain and recover from major surgery was so fulfilling I considered changing my undergrad focus. While I didn’t do that, this experience has guided my career and how I work with people.

I've led Go-To-Market teams at venture-backed B2B research and data companies for over 10 years. My impact at every stage of the customer lifecycle has helped these companies grow recurring revenue from less than $1 million to upwards of $100 million. Prior to that, I started my career as a Business Analyst transforming AIG in the wake of the financial crisis.

I'm also a dad of two, physical movement and training devotee, disgruntled baseball/Red Sox fan, and Uber Eats power user despite how often I say I want to learn to cook well.
