A client once said to me "Where have you been this whole time?" and I didn't know what to say.

It was in 2024 and l had just suggested a new offer that supported her corporate training. 

And she said it like she'd been looking for me for years.

I have carried those words till today…

Because four years ago, when I finished my Virtual Assistant certification and pivoted into the Online space I had the basics.

 I understood the tools,  knew the frameworks and could tick the boxes.

But I didn't yet know what I was becoming.

That came later and it came through the people who gave me a chance to work with them.

One of my past clients, Bibigi would let me sit inside her launches and learn how she thought about her audience. 

Another handed me a process that was falling apart and said "figure it out" and then actually let me.

And then there is my recent...

She allowed me to cohost her event and later called me "Godsent."

I was touched when she said it🥹

Not because I didn't believe her. But because I remembered the version of me who would've been too unsure to even pitch the idea or stepped in when faced with unforeseen situations.

The distance between those two versions of me wasn't just time.

It was every client who gave me room to learn, to experiment,  to get it wrong and come back better.

And that's something I don't think we talk about enough.
