From the humble village of Afagnan in Togo to the bustling streets of El Paso, Texas, Kofi Douhadji's journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. It all began with a dream to fly on an airplane and experience worlds he discovered through books.  Books were the gateway that opened Kofi's eyes to the vastness of the world beyond his village. This discovery ignited a deep yearning within him – a desire to dream bigger, to reach further. 

Kofi also held a vision close to his heart: to one day set foot in the United States, carve out his own destiny, and change his family's legacy. Years of determination and perseverance led him to that very dream. Arriving in the U.S. with no command of English, Kofi embarked on a journey filled with challenges and triumphs. Started businesses, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, became an Officer, and delved deeply into the quest for his life's purpose. 

This pursuit led to the birth of Flying Wings, a hybrid-publishing house combining the best of traditional publishing with the empowerment of self-publishing to help emerging independent authors publish great books. In a beautiful twist of fate, Kofi's path has come full circle, back to the world of books that first inspired him. 

His debut book, 'Unbroken Optimist,' has touched the hearts of thousands worldwide, paving the way for a flourishing writing career. The anticipation builds for Kofi's upcoming book, ‘Tiny Sparks,’ set to launch on May 23, 2024.
