Building a Health & Longevity Startup | Advising Amazing Entrepreneurs | Raising Two Incredible Kids

For years, I’d been giving advice to friends and family on how to stay fit - what I do to workout, what I eat, how I structure my day. But recently I’d been feeling like I was the one struggling. 

As a 40-yr old dad of two kids, I wasn’t feeling my best - slower runs, less strength, higher stress and lower energy. Nothing came easy and it wasn’t only affecting me. My wife and kids weren’t getting the best dad and partner; my clients weren’t getting the best coach; my friends weren’t getting my best either. This wasn’t living - I was just surviving. 

It was time for a change. I decided to dive in and figure out how I could get my health and my life back. Well, there is too much content out there and it’s nearly impossible to make sense of it all (do this, don’t do that). But I persevered through the research and committed to changes. After a few months, I was amazed not only by what I learned, but how I felt. 

I'd literally gone back in time - keeping up with 20-somethings in the circuit class at the gym, running times that I hadn’t achieved in years, finding more focus and mental clarity in my work, and most importantly - having positive energy for the most important people in my life. 

Thrive25 is my way of sharing these insights with you. Not everyone has the time to go on this health journey themselves. So we’ve broken down not only “what” is best for your health, but “how” to fit it into your life - all in just a 3-5 min daily email. 

When I'm not focused on health & longevity, you can find me at Embarc Collective, Florida's fastest growing startup hub with over 100 member companies, where I get the honor of helping some of the most dynamic and amazing entrepreneurs. 

I'm also fortunate to serve on the Board of several successful startups and am consistently on the look out for new and innovative early stage companies, with an emphasis in health & well-being. 

Previously, served as President of SnackNation (which has since rebranded to Caroo), as we grew to serve better-for-you snacks to employees at over 5,000 offices across the country (back when it was still a 9-to-5 schedule).
