I first became aware of Zortrex via Professor Bill Buchanan who acts as their ambassador. Sue Brown had also mentioned tokenisation in comments on posts, so I looked further into their unique offering.
Through my experience in designing micro-payments (m-pesa) & integrating logistics systems (DHL, UPS & TNT) in the pharmaceutical industry, I can see the value of this approach in securing and storing data at speed.
I also have experience in GDPR, FoIAs & SARs with the NHS, Police & Government (Local & Central) and I can see the need to secure our data at a country level is urgently overdue due to the APTs
I can see Zortrex becoming a standard in tokenisation for both public & private data, ensuring trust whilst delivering the vital data we need to live our lives. I welcome my appointment as advisor to this new and exciting business.

Since the mid 1990’s I have been designing and developing products & services for multi-national companies, SMEs and startups. These are often large-scale and highly transactional and many are still in use by millions of people today.

Safaricom’s ‘m-pesa’ (Developed by Vodafone & Sagentia in 2007-2009) is an example of one of these systems in commercial use today. It has radically changed the concept of banking for the many previously ‘unbanked’ in developing countries. 

During my twenty-plus year IT career, I have proven quick to adopt new technology and adapt to changes in ways of working with people and teams across companies and kept with the rapid pace of innovation in business.

What I am looking for – I seek to work with people and companies delivering innovative products and services. I am looking to help design and improve IT systems supporting those activities.
