Hey there, I’m Sean. I play at the intersection of investing, media and human performance.

I’m a three-time INC 500 founder & entrepreneur with businesses in eCommerce, SaaS, media and B2B services that have collectively generated hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.

Right now, I serve as a General Partner at The Family Fund and am the CEO of Significant Publications, a B2B digital media holding company.

I'm particularly passionate about our brand FounderIV in support of today's founder-athletes. We help today's top entrepreneurs achieve breakout performance in their personal and professional lives.

I co-founded and led multiple other companies, including SnackNation, a health-centric foodservice and brand discovery platform that served 20,000 businesses across the US.

Outside of the business world, I’m a two-time national medalist in freestyle snowboarding, hold an advisory role at the growth capital firm, Meaningful Partners, have a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University and am an avid sports fan of all Michigan sports teams (especially the Wolverines).

I currently live in Venice, CA with my wife and college sweetheart, Shannon, and our goldendoodle, Jameson.

People with 10+ years of experience often undersell themselves the most.

But because they describe their work like this:

• Handled client communication
• Managed daily operations
• Worked on multiple projects

This doesn’t reflect 10 years of growth.

At this stage, your resume should show impact, ownership, and leadership.

Here’s what strong 10-year resumes usually include:

1. Career progression clearly visible
Your growth should tell a story.

2. Business impact, not just responsibilities
What changed because of your work?

3. Leadership and decision-making examples
Who did you influence or guide?

4. Numbers that show scale
Revenue, team size, budgets, projects.

5. Strategic thinking, not just execution
How did you improve systems or results?

Because after a decade in corporate life…

Recruiters are not just hiring a doer.
They’re hiring someone who understands business.

And your resume should reflect that shift.
Ten years of experience is not just time.

It’s a decade of decisions, lessons, and results.

Make sure your resume shows it.

Most CXOs don’t struggle with strategy.
They struggle with writing about themselves.

After working with senior leaders for years, I’ve noticed something surprising:

The higher the designation, the harder it becomes to communicate clearly.

Here’s what really happens behind the scenes:

1️⃣ They think at 30,000 feet
But LinkedIn works at ground level.

2️⃣ They speak in boardroom language
But the market listens in human language.

3️⃣ They oversimplify impact
“Led transformation” says nothing.

4️⃣ Or they overcomplicate everything
10 buzzwords. Zero clarity.

5️⃣ They write for peers
But visibility comes from broader audiences.

6️⃣ They confuse confidentiality with invisibility
You can share insight without sharing secrets.

7️⃣ They struggle to show vulnerability
Authority feels safer than authenticity.

The biggest problem?
Most CXOs have never needed to market themselves.

Their work spoke for them.
Recruiters called them.
