I was not voted Most Likely to Succeed in high school. I don't think my name would've even been on the ballot. After a few life situations early on, I learned life was way too short. This translated to the mentality of, "party hard, have fun, and live life with no regrets."

As I started to realize my life path was going in the wrong direction, and fast, my mentality around how I wanted my life to play out changed.

After realizing I needed to turn my life around, I buckled down. I've used my past experience of being pushed/coached in sports, and have translated that into a drive to explore, create, and build. I am driven to continually learn from what I experience, apply what I have been taught, and add value whenever I can.

My old thought of "no regrets"  has translated to:

•	Optimized process and preventative maintenance techniques to reduce solvent usage in excess of 15% per year, accounting for a cost savings of $50,000 per year.
•	Developed and implemented a series of preventative tool responses and integrated them into the fault detection system to prevent a harmful etch interaction, which has saved over $100,000 per year.
•	Manage the operation of 60 tools within the fab.
•	Developed OCAPs (out of control action plans), PM (preventative maintenance) documents, and implemented FDC (fault detection control) real time analysis on all tools.

Process Engineer

University of Arizona

•	Experience utilizing PVD and CVD deposition utilities including sputter, thermal evaporator, e-beam, annealing chamber, and PECVD. Additional experience in secondary utilities including lithography, etching, ellipsometry, and dicing. 
•	Manage training and work orders for both the dicing saw and the wedge bonder.  
•	Perform maintenance on failing equipment; examples being, replacing an ion gauge on a thermal evaporator, trouble shooting an electrical system error within a PECVD, and troubleshooting a valve release error on the sputter chamber. 
•	Created operational manuals for the thermal evaporator, wedge bonder, dicing saw, and the Lesker sputter machine. 
•	Developed GUI modules in python for optimizing the analysis of the water purification process, as well as a module for new users in determining the required machine and settings for an optimized deposition of a specific material type.

Process Engineering Intern

•	Hands-on experience within a lab cleaning acid and base chemical spills; preparing an array of different types of chemicals for lab, such as dilute and concentrated acids, bases (including alkalis), various indicators and other neutral solutions; as well as experience disposing of waste materials, and waste chemicals, in the proper manner, through the means of solid and liquid waste dispensers. 
•	Perform routine maintenance on the following lab equipment: an AA atomic spectrometer, ion, gas and IR chromatographs, a UV vis, an HPLC system, various types of precision balances, and a photoluminescent spectrometer.  
•	Responsible for the organization of 12+ undergraduate lab teaching sessions per week, including equipment check in and check out, repairing broken pieces, and accounting for the proper amount of chemicals and materials.
