Management Consultant

My general management role included overall accountability for business priorities, revenue objectives, HQ operations and procedures in Europe with the authority to make time critical decisions on behalf of CEO, CTO and CFO. 

I was responsible for building and managing highly motivated talent and an organization that worked with high operational excellence, taking an active role in the hiring process to extend the team from 15 to 40+ employees. 

I was the host manager of the new EMEA Office in Venice (leading personally the entire operation of the move), charged with the proper oversight and operation across all groups working out of the office (UK, France, Germany, Spain). 

Acting also as a Managing Director, I was leading all responsibility for global marketing activities and developing company's marketing strategy worldwide (specifically demand generation, branding and corporate communications), sales strategy in consultation with the VPs Sales of the different regions (USA, EMEA, APAC) and Resellers (Balkans, GCC, Oceania), US and EU Content Creation Team management (rebuilding cost and profitability structure, procedures and coordination with sales and development team), UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Team coordination for software, also being the chief company spokesman.

I was responsible for marketing research and planning, overseeing the company's marketing budget. I followed the rebranding process across the new content marketing strategy (direct e-mail, case studies, landing pages, blogs, webinars, whitepapers, tutorials, videos), organizing contractors work, renovating website and SEO strategies, social media and press management due to develop the market, acquiring and retaining customers in the target segment, coordinating the sales activities. 

I worked in the UI/UX development and new products launch, recommending pricing strategy, implementing promotional campaigns and measuring results. 

Starting from the design of the booths layout concept, I arranged trade shows, roadshows, meetings, conferences, seminars and live technical demonstrations in Europe, Middle East, South-East Asia and United States as a show manager.

I started working for this company as a content creator (2D/3D drawings and relational database). After six months I got promoted to own the BIM/CAD Content Factory improving project management to satisfy customers requests and growing up a relevant team building in problem solving. 

I was the Key Account Manager for a portfolio of 300+ international manufacturing companies increasing the partnership, trying to understand the commercial needs for their different type of highly configurable and complex products and selling proper customized services. 

I was also a teacher in on-site trainings for CAD solutions and I was involved as a project coordinator in the technical construction of the BIM workflows in the production environment.

Shaping the future of a pre-seed startup and growing a strong, integrated and sustainable idea of an innovative SaaS marketplace based on DLT principles for air cargo pricing and booking. I worked on:

• Designing the business model canvas and pitch deck;
• Writing the executive summary as well as the full business plan;
• Attending online and live meetings with US and EU investors and venture capitals;
• Submitting applications to accelerators and incubators. 

I did analyze, research and implement processes and systems, recommending strategic moves and tactics and set KPIs and goals to get things done and finally turn the vision into reality.

As a technical energy analyst my aim was to provide on-going analysis and modelling of energy schemes trends and performance on client sites, to ensure that energy was delivered consistently and efficiently to meet contractual requirements. 

With my consulting activity, I had a clear understanding on complex financial and energy models (energy-efficient construction, e-cycling and e-waste mitigation, recycling, LEED compliance, meeting OSHA standards, clean production) and I improved my ability to build complex spreadsheet models, identifying adverse trends and opportunities for improvements in energy spend. 

I used to measure, monitor and report on plant physical performance investigating it by providing key energy data, checking consumer consumptions against benchmarking data and budgets.

My principal skills referred to establish appropriate pricing models in all chosen international markets, maintaining and negotiating distributor terms and relationships. I processed and co-ordinated the logistics activities and the air/sea/truck freight for international orders, constantly in contact with the Venice, Milan, Leghorn, La Spezia, Shanghai and Hong Kong company offices. 

I developed proper habit in invoicing, issuing the carriers documentation and use of the operational software for the warehouse management and the booking goods in and out. 

I studied the supply chain method process providing training and collateral to international distributors to maintain the highest quality standards for the product overseas.

My experience was an independent contractor collaboration, assisting in a team responsible for the presentation digital images for the vast majority of the company's competitions and design projects creating the visual communication campaign, providing help in the maintenance and documentation of illustration standards such as working methods, animation libraries and archiving of final digital images. 

I gave my contribution for a lot of important customers such as Coca Cola, Museum, Safilo, Grandi Stazioni, Wind, Autogrill, Telecom Italia, Playlife, Sky to render visuals from conceptual art to full presentation layouts using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and websites and multimedia design using Dreamweaver, Flash, Premiere.

I had the opportunity to work on very important projects of the architect Renzo Piano and several other general contractors all over the world, specially in the People's Republic of China.
