And now that #ATO is over, I can share how the second day went and how I feel about it.

On the second day of the conference, there were fewer people, as expected. I wanted to take some quick interviews… but most people were quite reserved. 
The presentations, however, were very good.

Alex Fedotoff talked about agents and how to use them to optimize processes. Very interesting! 
There was also a lot of discussion around building and promoting your own offers, but honestly, most of those principles apply when promoting partner offers too.

Another interesting point came from Rory Flynn, who said: “Everything is anything.”
That line stuck with me.
Now that you can create videos with any face, turn images into videos, or reuse existing content and adapt it (with your face for example)… it really changes how we look at content. 
It’s a bit scary, yes. But at the same time, it’s something we need to understand and learn to work with.

And then there’s Ezra Firestone…
 He showed again that he can own the stage and the audience. A real presence.

So overall, the second day was… good.

The after party organized by sticky. io was very nice. Great sushi, relaxed vibe, and actual conversations. No need to shout over loud music. Even for someone like me, a bit more on the introvert side, it felt easy to connect.

Later, I met with the team from Buygoods at the official party. Beautiful location, outside, with sand and palm trees… very Miami. 😀 

Looking back at the whole event…
I think I still liked the Barcelona edition more. Probably because I felt more “at home” there, with familiar faces. So yes, maybe a bit subjective.

The Miami edition was good, but I feel it could have been better. Some talks felt more like promotion, and that’s not really what I’m looking for at a conference.
That said, for a first edition, it was solid. You could see the effort behind it, and everything ran smoothly.
I’ll most likely attend the next Affiliate Takeover as well.
