After graduating from the University of Melbourne, I used my biomedical science training to prepare thousands of students for the MCAT, PCAT, DAT, and OAT, both in a traditional classroom setting and, more often, in an Adobe-based digital learning environment (Live OnLine, or "LOL" (no, really)).

My role requires teaching everything from reading comprehension to physics, essay writing to statistics, philosophy to biochemistry, and "how to rotate objects in your head, for future dentists". All Kaplan teachers have scored at or above the 90th percentile on each section of every test that we teach.

We work remotely and, frequently, synchronously: teams of 2-5 teach and provide live and email assistance to classes of between 20 and 200 students.

I have also presented and assisted at Kaplan sales events, providing students with an authority resource to answer their questions and guide them to the right test prep option for them.

Slide 17 => Sabemos que se están dejando dinero en construir data centers, pero el ritmo de crecimiento es burbujil (€450B sólo en 2025)
Slide 19 => Hasta el punto que el valor de los data centers está a punto de superar al valor de TODO el suelo de oficinas en USA
Slide 37 => Aunque es verdad que son WAUs, 800s millones de usuarios únicos semanales en sólo 3 años es una burrada
Slide 47 => La IA se lo come todo; da igual lo que haga tu startup, tienes que encontrar el ángulo de cómo usas la IA si no, imposible levantar dinero (una bebida isotónica con IA? coming soon to the market!)

Y luego, para cambiar tu forma de pensar,
Slide 50 => Lo primero que pensamos es en automatizar, pero el valor está en lo que viene después
Slide 64 => Para mi esta es la clave; la IA es revolucionaria no porque ya haga lo que hacemos más barato, sino porque desbloquea actividades que antes era económicamente imposibles de hacer. Eso sí, todo viene con trade-offs: tienes que asumir que en un % pequeño de los casos, se equivoque. ¿Qué nuevas actividades podemos desarrollar asumiendo/cubriendo esos posibles fallos?
