We've just really started our #podcast and I was not sure If I wanted to share the numbers, but #Spotify Wrapped somehow encouraged me to do so. You don't often get to see the real numbers and learnings and I think it's useful! 

Most people know: Podcasting is a marathon that requires a lot of discipline. It's hard to reach the "big BIG numbers" from scratch (although we're doing quite ok, I think). We knew all that from the beginning. That's why we built a system "around" that medium from the very first day. 

And truth is: It's hard to build a powerful podcast, but it's fairly easy to build a content ecosystem with social media and technology! All you need volume, gemini, canva and a mindset for testing with an openess to endure calculated fails with low performing posts and a little bit of cringe 😆 

But the biggest lesson is this: 
We are not thinking this as a podcast anways. 
We are thinking this as a community-platform and media brand ❤️ 

And yes: Some people still can't believe that I will be doing this for the next months now, but well....  I just really really enjoy this 😃

Podcast Review & Learnings 

My curiosity for 𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 is not just a project to optimize myself. I'm also curious about its 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 and 𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 implication. 

What has always driven my interest is change: how culture evolves, how narratives are rewritten, how words lose meaning and new ones emerge. Nerd and Fandom culture were once marginal and stigmatized. Today they define mainstream entertainment! People crave for Labubus, K-POP Demon Hunter gets a TIME cover and gaming moved from subculture to 185 billion dollar industry, while creators replaced traditional media as the real centers of influence.

Thing is: I am sensing changes and early signals around health and  medicine too. Language is changing first. Terms like “Anti-aging” quietly disappear. Technology becomes part of beauty. What was once dismissed as esoteric is now reframed as integrative or holistic. But these shifts are not just aesthetic or technological—they are deeply human.

They reflect psychological needs: control in an uncertain world, moments of escape, and the fundamental need to belong. This is why wellness and health are no longer just about treatments or performance. They are about identity somewhere between highly personalized medicine and sense of belonging! 

In this episode, Dr. Anne Latz and I speak with Kerstin Weng Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Germany, about beauty as a cultural narrative, shifting ideals, and why language, meaning, and belonging are becoming central to the longevity conversation.
