Artificial Intelligence: Oliver’s advisory approach begins with a profound understanding of the underlying technology. He tracks the rapid evolution of commercial AI applications – from Generative AI to emerging trends such as Agentic AI and AI in Robotics – to ensure his legal advice remains technically grounded. Based on this technical foundation, he provides comprehensive legal counsel across the following pillars:
•	AI Regulation: He advises on every aspect of the EU AI Act, drawing on immense expertise gained from dozens of successful compliance mandates. 
•	AI Contracts: He drafts and negotiates complex agreements for the procurement and licensing of AI systems. A focus lies on the often-overlooked contractual regulation of deliverables containing AI output (e.g., in service agreements or software development).
•	AI Governance: He supports organizations in designing internal governance frameworks. His Acceptable Use Policies (AUPs) are tailored to the client’s specific corporate culture, deployed tools, and actual use cases.
•	Liability & Risk: He advises on the shifting landscape of liability, covering contractual indemnity, tort, and product liability, with a specific focus on the implications of the new Product Liability Directive (PLD).

IT Commercial & Complex Projects: Beyond AI, Oliver advises on the full spectrum of IT commercial law. He supports both service providers and customers in the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex IT agreements. 

IT Outsourcing in the Financial Sector: Oliver possesses specialized expertise in the regulation of digital infrastructure within the financial services sector. He advises banks and IT providers on regulatory requirements for outsourcing (MaRisk, EBA Guidelines) and cyber security (DORA). 

Gaming & Interactive Entertainment: Oliver advises game companies on a wide range of legal issues. His counsel encompasses general commercial contracts, consumer law compliance, and increasingly, the specific legal challenges arising from the integration of AI into game development and gameplay mechanics.

Legal Tech & Innovation: Oliver is deeply integrated into the firm’s national and international Legal Tech initiatives. He actively shapes how the firm leverages AI to enhance legal service delivery. This includes designing internal training programs, evaluating new legal tech tools, and collaborating closely with the firms dedicated legal tech leaders.
