I was responsible for leading Stone Group's ecommerce function. On arrival, I reviewed the existing architecture, websites, team structure and supporting agencies against the ambitions the board set out for the business.

I restructured and developed the Digital team and built a world-class B2B / B2C / B2G / DTC eCommerce site which will support the business in it's long term growth ambitions, as one of the few remaining OEM's left in the UK.

The appointment of a new Search Agency, 43 clicks North, resulted in an award-winning campaign driving 148% revenue growth for Stone Refurb in Q4 2021, a key part of a successful initiative to dramatically increase the revenue and profitability of Stone's B2C / DTC business.

The work that I and my team did supports Stone customers whether they are consumers, businesses or government organisations, and I'm proud of the high quality user experience we have delivered.

I thoroughly enjoyed working for a company with a growth mindset and a focus on social and environmental responsibility, and was particularly proud to be driving revenue and profitability in a way which doesn't damage the planet we live on. There is, after all, no planet B.

I reviewed and rebuilt the Oracle ATG system that they had in place when I arrived, focusing on customer experience improvements. This led directly to being able to grow the online revenue from nothing to €m 8 figures in my tenure there.

In order to support the operation I built a high performing team in Gdansk, handling site administration centrally, and a specialist team based around Europe focused on functions such as product, marketing, and eProcurement.
