🟨 Social Media, Content Marketing, and Brand Management are key components to BRCC’s success and I was intimately involved. 
In a very “Game of Thrones” way, I was the CEO’s trusted right hand person; “The Hand”.
Under the direction of the CEO, I worked with the social media, marketing, design, and product development teams to partner with companies BRCC enjoys; increasing market share, building strong and effective working relationships, and exemplifying Black Rifle Coffee Company’s brand and culture. 
I worked closely with the Owners/ Founders on everything ranging from strategy, to special projects and partnerships. Entrusted to create and publish articles on LinkedIn for BRCC and coordinate company Events. Setup appointments and travel for the CEO.

🟨 Working in Afghanistan was a challenge with a family back in the United States. A friend of mine, Stan Green, offered me a position to work at Commuter Air Technology (now Meta Special Aerospace) as a Sensor Operator on contracts supporting United States Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC). This position allowed me to travel inside the United States and be home more with the family. I was promoted to a newly created role to support the CEO. I used my creativity and communication skills to advise and assist leadership on projects; working closely with Human Resources. 
My wife was offered an Air Guard (Active Duty) assignment to the Great State of Texas, so the family hitched up the wagon and crossed the Red River. Texas resident.

🟨 I transitioned to contracting in Afghanistan; using my military talents. I was the On-site Lead for three government owned aircraft (King Air 300), valued over $10M. I flew on the King Air as a Sensor Operator Instructor-Evaluator and provided Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR). I supervised 20 professional men and women; managing the schedule, travel, pay, and reviewing operational reports before distributing them. Working in this ecosystem allowed me to build relationships with a diverse team in a challenging environment.

🟨 This chapter was the conclusion (Honorable 20+ years retirement) to my military career. I became a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) in 2007 (Class Leader- Hawk 75) with the 148th Air Support Operations Squadron (ASOS) in Pennsylvania. I am comfortable with business start-ups, as I was the 6th person hired into the unit. We moved back to Oklahoma because the family was growing. I earned my living as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (TACP/JTAC) Operations Manager with the 146th ASOS. I am savvy with creating new processes and worked closely with our Logistics Manager and Recruiters. This is where I sank my teeth into business development and branding. I deployed to southern Afghanistan and controlled air strikes in the same backyard where my friend Brad Smith was killed. The brotherhood and bonds formed here are lifelong. I earned the rank of Master Sergeant (E-7). I love the saying: “hire a Master Sergeant, not a Masters degree.”

Baltimore Police Department

🟨 I completed my active duty orders with the Air Force Reserve in 2003 and the Baltimore Police Department selected me to be one of their finest. I was Class Commander for BPD Academy class 03-01. My time with the BPD was incredible. I loved the community I worked in (mainly the Eastern District). Being in a vacant house in the middle of the night conducting covert surveillance on suspected drug dealers or running after someone with a handgun down a dark alley never got old. I was passionate about coming to work to make a difference. Writing and executing search warrants with a team whom I trusted with my life was an adrenaline rush. Getting selected for SWAT stepped up my law enforcement tactics and with a city of 250+ homicides a year, there was never a dull moment. The stories go on and on!

🟨 This is where it all began. I walked into the recruiter’s office in Parkville, Maryland and joined the United States Air Force. While at the Security Police Academy I was selected for a Special Duty Assignment with the Presidential Honor Guard. I conducted an enormous amount of military funerals at Arlington National Cemetery and Joint ceremonies at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Two years in Washington, D.C. and the USAF sent me to Minot, ND. Cold beyond imagination (minus 94 degrees). Shifted gears and became an Air Surveillance Technician on the E-3 AWACS (over 1,000 flight hours) in Oklahoma. I entered the Air Force Reserves after active duty in 2000. 9/11 happened (thanks Osama) and I found myself back in Security Forces at Andrews Air Force Base. I completed the USAF Phoenix Raven course (#889) and flew missions to South America (Chile, Peru, Bolivia, and Columbia).

Welcome to the rollercoaster that is my life—a mashup of grit, creativity, and an unapologetic love for coffee, marketing, the outdoors, and making an impact.

My Air Force journey shaped my foundation. Over 20 years, I wore many hats: guarding nuclear missile fields, patrolling the skies on an E-3 AWACS, earning my JTAC qualification while a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) member...including combat missions in Afghanistan.

Parallel to my Air Guard service, I spent seven years with the Baltimore Police Department, working Patrol, SWAT, citywide narcotics (VCID), like legally purchasing heroin for investigations—I’ve got stories that’ll make your jaw drop.

After my military and law enforcement careers, I embraced the skies again, flying ISR missions on the King Air 300 and serving as a Site Lead in Afghanistan.

Fast forward to a dream job: Black Rifle Coffee Company. Serving as “The Hand” to the CEO and becoming a Marketing Director, I immersed myself in brand awareness, events, and social media—turning caffeinated visions into impactful campaigns.

As a proud military spouse (my wife is in the Air Force), I know the power of resilience and adaptability.

Beyond work, I’m passionate about veteran advocacy, archery, the outdoors, and all things coffee and beer. I align with brands authentically, fostering connections that resonate.
