You can’t “own” a color…

…but you 𝘤𝘢𝘯 get in trouble for using one.

And that’s what most people misunderstood from my first post.

A while back I posted:

“colors that are illegal to use”

It blew up.

→ leads in the DMs

Even crazier:

a few other creators reposted the same carousel from my account…
and it performed for them too.
Because color isn’t decoration.

Color is signal.

It hits your audience 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 they read your headline.
It makes you feel premium… or makes you feel cheap.
It builds familiarity… or screams “who even is this?”

And when you copy someone else’s palette “because it looks nice”…

you don’t just copy a style.

you borrow their identity.
