Hey! I'm Tom Chain

I always knew I was too free spirited for the corporate world, even though I learned a lot and thrived in investment banking, private equity, and tech startups.

In 2021, I reached a breaking point. I could not keep playing a role I no longer believed in, so I quit my job and started making self-development videos on YouTube, learning everything from editing to scripting. I also dug deeper into philosophy, human psychology, and self-development.

That is when I discovered how much I love writing, reflecting, and using visuals to convey big ideas. My educational content soon led people to ask for coaching, so I added that to my offerings.

Teaching has always felt natural to me. I have an affinity for polymathy, and I believe one of the best ways to learn is by teaching. My passion is helping others improve their own lives, whether it is their skills, performance, lifestyle, or education.

“If you can’t afford to live here… leave.”
A simple sentence on the surface, yet beneath it lies the full declaration of the modern American "oligarchy" — a class no longer satisfied with monopolizing wealth, now determined to monopolize meaning itself: the meaning of dignity, of belonging, of one’s right to exist somewhere simply because one was born there.

“If you’re poor or can’t afford the price of the illusion we’ve created — leave.”
That’s the real slogan. The currency they print out of thin air becomes the measure of your worth, and the fake inflation they engineer defines whether you count as a human being or an expendable statistic. And if you can’t afford to buy into their lie, then your place is under a bridge, in your car, or somewhere on the edge of life — useful only as fuel for their machine.

But don’t worry — they’ll give you motivational books.
They’ll tell you waking up at 5 a.m. will “change your life,” that if you “believe in yourself” enough, you’ll one day reach the top.
What they won’t tell you is that the “top” was built over the bones of those who believed them.
They want you busy optimizing yourself instead of asking who stole your time, who turned work into a form of servitude wrapped in shiny slogans like freedom and opportunity.

Then comes one of the system’s worn-out mouthpieces — a hollow man like Ben Shapiro — who politely declares:
“There’s no meaning in the place you were born. The world belongs to those who can afford it.”
As if belonging were a luxury. As if existence itself required a financial license. This isn’t philosophy — it’s the soft language of economic slavery, polished enough to sound rational in a podcast.

To the oligarch, skin color doesn’t matter — because the only color that counts is green.
White, Black, or brown — you’re equal only in your subservience to capital. You’re a product, your value fluctuating with the market. And if you want dignity, you’ll have to pay for it in advance.

“If you don’t fit into this system we’ve built — leave.”
But leave to where? The world has become an extension of their factory — different streets in the same global shopping mall. And if you stay, know this: you will live as a slave, not with chains, but with contracts, mortgages, and debt — all rebranded as “opportunity.”

They’ve made you believe that salvation lies in discipline, not in justice.
That success lies in labor, not in dignity.
That life itself is a productivity project, not a human experience.

So when the oligarchy says, “If you can’t afford to live here, leave,” what they really mean is: “Obey, or disappear.”

And maybe the only real act of freedom left is to do the opposite —
Don’t leave. Stand. Don’t justify. Expose.

Don’t beg for a seat in their system. Build your own outside their glass temples.
Because the freedom they sell is just a delayed paycheck —
and there is no slavery crueler than working your whole life just to dream of becoming like your master.
