Before my advisory career, I held CEO and executive leadership roles in retail banking, mortgages, and investment management—firsthand experience that continues to shape my work on transformation challenges.

I serve as Senator for Ireland at the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF), affiliated with the G20’s Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion, and as a board member of the WBAF Global Science, Technology & Innovation Committee. I also co-founded the Digital Transformation Lab at Cork University Business School (UCC), a think tank focused on digital transformation. In executive education, I am a faculty member at the Institute of Bankers in Ireland, delivering programmes on digital disruption in financial services and fintech.

Currently a PhD candidate researching board and executive understanding of digital disruption, I hold dual MBAs in Banking and General Management. Supervising MSc students over a 5 month period and engaging with them on a 1:1 and group basis to encourage their verbal and written skills in constructing their chosen MSc projects.  

My key role is to ensure the students build their critical analysis and thinking skills to add value to their MSc dissertations in terms of writing and project management skills. Demonstrating an application of psychological and marketing theory and synthesis.  My aim is to be supportive and objective, adding clarity and best practice to these very capable students, who will be leaders of the future.

Part time Guest lecturer

As the Course co-ordinator and senior lecturer, I introduced marketing decision making, enabling third and honours year students to develop a marketing strategy based on the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, who agreed to be The Client.  

I set the international students the challenge of  transforming themselves into commercial marketing research consultants, fulfilling the requirements of a client brief, in order to successfully pass their final project at the Business School. 

Sharing learnings and experience of both qualitative and quantitative survey techniques, formulating hypotheses, research design, questionnaire design and statistical analysis generated through the management of a master survey file.

This was evidenced through a critical account of their research practice and also the coding and inputting of their own questionnaires.  These were then transferred to a master file, which was used by all the students as the basis of the formal report.  

In evaluting the students performance, they produced strategy reports of a high standard which were fed back to the Management team of the museum.   I wish the students all the best with their future careers in their chosen business and marketing disciplines.

Preparing students from a wide background of international work and academic backgrounds on a variety of subjects, based on the ICM examination questions for the Graduate and Post Gradaute Diplomas.

This encompassed the latest contemporary issues in the financial and economic world and the latest udpates on Mergers and Acquisitions across the FTSE 100 companies.Lecturing Post graduate and graduate students on the core subjects through the Institute of Commerical Management.  

I developed the lesson plans and core material from the Economist and International Management textbooks and industry case studies
