Our kiddos are losing their ability to be creative.

(I hope we catch it before it's too late)

99% of what makes us human can’t be automated.

And in today’s AI-driven world, that matters more than ever.

We’re raising kids who can swipe before they can speak…

We can’t let screens replace the skills that build real lives.

When I was growing up in the 70s and 80s, we made forts and out of picnic tables in the dirt.

Anyway... here we are in a new age. 

And, it's amazing!

 ↳ Show them how to listen, empathize, and be present

4/ Real-World Problem Solving
 ↳ Life happens off the screen
 ↳ Let them struggle, try, fail, retry, that’s how confidence is built

5/ Human Values
 ↳ Kindness
 ↳ Integrity
 ↳ Love

These never go out of style, no matter how advanced the tech gets

AI is powerful.
But humanness is irreplaceable.

We don’t build our future in the future.

(I hope they teach this in school)

We build it in the quiet choices we make today.
- Good or bad.
- Like it or not.

I learned that the hard way.
In my early twenties, I chose the easy path.
Drugs and alcohol
Comfort food.
No exercise.
No real goals.
Late nights.
Numbing out.
Telling myself I’d get it together “soon.”

I wasn’t thinking long term.
I was thinking about the next hit of comfort.
The next distraction.
The next excuse.

And life got hard.
Really hard.

My finances suffered.
My health declined.
My relationships fell apart.
My confidence vanished.

Every easy choice came back with interest.
The kind you don’t want to pay.

It took years to climb out of that hole.
One honest step at a time.
One day at a time.
One decision at a time.

Choosing water over alcohol.
Choosing exercise over excuses.
Choosing coaching and inner work over autopilot.
Choosing to build a life instead of hide from one.

Hard choices.
Repeated daily.
Quietly.
Without applause.

But that’s when everything began to change.
That’s when I learned what the science already knew.
The brain is always shaping itself.
Always learning from what you do now.
Always preparing you for the future you are creating.

We think we judge our lives by big moments.
We don’t.

We judge them by the habits we repeat.

If you feel stuck right now, remember:
Discomfort is not a sign you’re failing.
It’s a sign you’re choosing a different future.

Every disciplined choice rewires your brain.
Even when the progress is invisible.

What feels hard today becomes your strength tomorrow.
IF you keep going.

I’m living proof that you can choose easy now and pay for it later.
And I’m living proof that you can turn it around.
With work.
With sacrifice.
With better choices made consistently.

You’re not trapped.
You’re in the middle of  BECOMING.

Just keep going... it will make sense later.
