The Director of Finance is responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting, budgeting and reporting activities. The Director prepares and develops and provides financial reporting and analysis to the Board, Budget and Finance committee and works closely with the senior leadership team.

 

The Director leads all day-to-day finance operations and supervises the finance team consisting of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. The Director works closely with administrators and their staffs to educate on finance and accounting procedures as well as to strategize on supporting program operations.

Where others have given up on organizing their books, I have stepped in and helped various sized enterprises regain control of their finances.
 
In 2010, I began working as the Financial Controller of the largest Jewish Girl’s School in Canada, as well as providing private bookkeeping services to numerous clients. In 2022 I became Director of Finance at Eitz Chaim, the oldest Jewish Day School in Canada.
 
Using advanced numerate skills, I analyze current practices and discover the flaws; while focusing on the big picture. 
 
I use my innate skills at organization and advanced numerate abilities to provide financial direction for both non-profit and for-profit organizations.
