I help agencies and client-facing teams lead with more impact - strengthening client relationships, handling tough conversations and growing revenue by up to 35%.

Previously, I built one of the UK’s first UX agencies from scratch, scaled it to £3m, sold it and lived to tell the tale. Then I wrote a bestselling book called Human Powered and launched an accompanying podcast.

It's been a 20-year rollercoaster journey!

Oh, and in 2023, I took my kids backpacking across Asia and Africa for six months. We survived hunting in Tanzania, paint fights in India and leech attacks in Borneo.

Welcome to March. The month where:

Lots of women will get asked to contribute to IWD for free, because you've got to 'give to gain'. Alas no.

A few pairs of shorts will start to surface into drawers across the country as 16 degrees will feel like you've woken up in Tenerife.

Parents will face mild jeopardy as they take on world book day, red nose day and the run up to Easter. 

The geopolitical climate is terrifying. So let's go a bit slower and gentler.

End of financial years will start to appear if you're on an April deadline- use your directors benefits, will you? and talk to your accountant 😉 

And I'll start to dismantle and re-build in public as Everyday Change moves into its next life.

You see lots of business folk share big updates.

6 figure months.
Franchise opportunities.
Associate benches longer than, er, really long benches.

You see some grit. Some mistakes, wobbles and ideas come to life as people build outloud.

So when I decided to re-shape Everyday Change, and close the doors to The Growth Club, I did so with the commitment to myself (and to anyone else re-shaping and experimenting) that I'd do it outloud.

Nothing bad happened.
Nothing failed.
Wheels didn't fall off.
My clients and their work is safe and well.

But the world changed, my world shifted and it's time to do differently, for the three people I love the most.

So here it is, part one, day one of *so, what next*.

Today would usually be a day where I excelled.

The challenge would be set.
The prep would begin.
The cardboard harvested over weeks ready to go.
The school would sing my praises and ask to keep costumes.
We won village prizes for *taking it too far*
Other parents would hiss at be behind their amazon creations.

But alas, not this year**. Harry's world book day costume requires only a Khopesh* to be created. 

So in memoriam of my world book day past. I give you these.

Nope..a stranger ocassionally shows up in my messages because a past client sent them my way because 'Susie will sort that shit out for you'.

And I love them and the strangers for it.

Because thats my best work. Sorting out stuff you can't sort solo.

And everyone else is just pretending that they keep getting asked questions that nobody is asking (coz most folk have Googled it, AI'd it, or looked at a thesaurus).
