A few years ago, I was sitting in a boardroom with two managers.
Both were asked the same question: “Do we move forward with this client… or wait for more data?”
 
Manager A pulled out spreadsheets. He said, “I’ll need a week to analyze this.”

1. I’d map where the signal drops happen.
Walk the floor, run a basic connectivity test, and note the dead zones.
 
2. Prioritize network traffic
Set QoS rules so mission‑critical apps (WMS, TOS, real‑time tracking) get priority over low‑importance traffic.
 
3. Enable roaming optimization
Fast roaming protocols (802.11r/k/v) prevent those micro‑second dropouts workers feel as “lag.”
 
4. Monitor everything in real time
A simple dashboard showing signal strength, interference, and congestion patterns helps you fix issues before they spread.
 
That's it.
