Sarah Romanko is on the investment team at Geek Ventures, where she focuses on sourcing, screening, conducting in-depth analysis of prospective startups, and closing deals. She also works with founders post-investment, and leads community and brand-building efforts by managing the firm’s LinkedIn presence, creating original content, securing event partnerships, and actively speaking at and judging industry events.

Volunteer at MATCH HOUSE + Opportunity to Intern! 

On March 13, Geek Ventures, MatchPlay, Boop.me, and FirstGlance are bringing founders, investors, builders, and operators together in Austin for a curated SXSW experience designed to eliminate random networking and replace it with real conversations.

🚀  Founders meet investors who are actively deploying.
💰  Investors meet founders worth spending time with.
🔨  Operators and builders meet people they can actually work with.

It will be a day focused on curation and intentional building.

We're looking for volunteers who can help with event setup and guest check-in, content creation and social media support, and operations and logistics coordination. 

This experience is best suited for students who are in venture or entrepreneurship programs, and want to: 
• Network with top founders, investors, and community leaders
• Hear from speakers about emerging trends in venture capital
• Receive behind-the-scenes access to a high-caliber venture capital event
