Promote and coordinate Career Skills Program (CSP) internships, promote BioWork certificate program to veterans, transitioning service members’, military spouses, guardsmen, reservists, help recruit employer sponsors of internships, BioWork courses, transition marketing/promotion of CSP internships to vets support organizations/non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Enhance connectivity between participants in the program and life science companies/in-demand jobs.

Program Manager, Military Outreach & Veterans Engagement (M.O.V.E.)

North Carolina Army National Guard

Supervises operations, employee training, and development in an organization with 163 employees with ground assets of $16 million USD and two facilities of approximately $1 million USD. Oversee 3 full-time staff employees responsible for personnel support, supply, training, and planning of daily operations for the company.

Operations Manager

Served as an Operational Planner and Project Lead for State Operations section. Supplied leadership, guidance, training, recommendations, and mentorship to meet the Director of State Operations intent. Executed State command level operations, activities, ceremonies, and special projects. Led, orchestrated, and facilitated multiple projects with State Operations section. Provided and stood for the Director of State Operations with informal and formal decision and command level briefs for State Senior leadership.

Operational Planner

Led a team of 10 Recruiters engaged in full cycle recruiting spanning over 4,000 square miles to meet the goals of recruiting and training civilians to attend US Army Basic Skills Course to become soldiers. Accomplished significant improvement through mentorship and training of existing team members as well as effective talent identification and management.

Area Manager of Talent Acquisition

Through full cycle recruiting and retention to maintain quality individuals to serve in the North Carolina Army National Guard.

Recruiter

Served as a truck commander for a Platoon recovery and escort team during Operation Iraqi Freedom IV. Inspected and accounted for the Armored Security Vehicle (ASV), weapons systems, commo equipment, and other sensitive items. Responsible for the overwatch of assigned team that consisted of five soldiers.
